Extra Duty Activities. Individuals accepting an extra duty activity (EDA) responsibility shall be paid an hourly rate of pay based on the negotiated rates for the respective position(s) identified in the Master Agreement between TABCO and the Board of Education of Baltimore County (Board). Payment for these services shall be fifteen dollars and fifty cents ($15.50) per hour, based on FY 21 rates. When, as a result of sponsoring an EDA, an employee exceeds forty (40) working hours during a regular work week, the rate of compensation for the EDA hours above forty hours will be time-and-one half, or twenty-three dollars and twenty- five cents ($23.25). Sponsors shall not earn more than the compensation designated for each EDA category. The EDA categories and corresponding compensation are: Level I - $1,086, Level II - $2,169 and Level III - $3,251. Refer to Appendix F - Extra Compensation, for the complete list of Extra Duty student activities. In subsequent years, the same calculation formula as used in FY 09 will be used to determine the hourly rate and the overtime rate.

Extra Duty Activities. “Extra duty” is defined as additional work not included as part of the regular job assignment. Some extra duty may be earned within the teacher workday as noted in Extra Duty Schedule A. Some extra duty may be earned outside the teacher workday as noted in Extra Duty Schedule B. This compensation is paid in addition to the contractual salary on a timesheet or stipend basis with administrative pre- approval as indicated and included within the adopted budget or pre-approved by Board action. The following areas of teacher participation shall be considered as “Extra Duty” with the rate of pay as indicated (general duties, time schedule, etc. to be set by the Superintendent.) The following list shall not be considered an all exclusive or inclusive listing, and the Board reserves the right to add, delete or modify this listing during the term of the Agreement in the best interest of the School District. However, when there are changes, the Board will bargain the pay with the Association. All payments shall be made at the completion of the activity. The extra duty roster listed below will be posted in each building so that all staff members may be aware of such openings and may apply for them through designated channels. If an acceptable applicant cannot be found, extra duty assignments will be designated by the administration, the Superintendent or designee, on a rotating basis. District Leadership Team (DLT) – During the first DLT meeting each year, the members will mutually determine the meeting start times/dates for that school year. Consideration will be given to the prevailing substitute situation, ability of schools to cover, and reasonable duration of meetings. Teachers are given release time for any portion of a meeting during school time. DLT will engage in ongoing discussions regarding all committee work and progress made in such a manner that will ensure open dialogue between the committee members and all their constituents. DLT reports will be given at staff meetings to offer an opportunity for input and discussion.

Extra Duty Activities. Whenever the services of an Employee are necessary for a student to participate in an off-site program/activity/field trip, which includes the District's provision of lunch to the participating students and teacher, the District will also provide lunch to the Employee. When vacancies occur in the extra duty schedule and are posted but not filled by certified staff, Employees may voluntarily apply for extra duty outside the regular workday. When an extra duty position is filled by an Employee, the position shall be posted again prior to the next school year. These duties will be paid on an hourly basis using the employees hourly rate of pay. All overtime laws apply for extra-duty pay.

  • Union Activities If the Contract Amount is $50,000 or more, no Judicial Council funds received under this Agreement will be used to assist, promote or deter union organizing during the term of this Agreement (including any extension or renewal term).

  • Outside Activities Subject to the Articles of Incorporation and any agreements entered into by the General Partner or its Affiliates with the Partnership or a Subsidiary, any officer, director, employee, agent, trustee, Affiliate or stockholder of the General Partner shall be entitled to and may have business interests and engage in business activities in addition to those relating to the Partnership, including business interests and activities substantially similar or identical to those of the Partnership. Neither the Partnership nor any of the Limited Partners shall have any rights by virtue of this Agreement in any such business ventures, interest or activities. None of the Limited Partners nor any other Person shall have any rights by virtue of this Agreement or the partnership relationship established hereby in any such business ventures, interests or activities, and the General Partner shall have no obligation pursuant to this Agreement to offer any interest in any such business ventures, interests and activities to the Partnership or any Limited Partner, even if such opportunity is of a character which, if presented to the Partnership or any Limited Partner, could be taken by such Person.

  • Marketing Activities The Borrower will not, and will not permit any of its Subsidiaries to, engage in marketing activities for any Hydrocarbons or enter into any contracts related thereto other than (i) contracts for the sale of Hydrocarbons scheduled or reasonably estimated to be produced from their proved Oil and Gas Properties during the period of such contract, (ii) contracts for the sale of Hydrocarbons scheduled or reasonably estimated to be produced from proved Oil and Gas Properties of third parties during the period of such contract associated with the Oil and Gas Properties of the Borrower and its Subsidiaries that the Borrower or one of its Subsidiaries has the right to market pursuant to joint operating agreements, unitization agreements or other similar contracts that are usual and customary in the oil and gas business and (iii) other contracts for the purchase and/or sale of Hydrocarbons of third parties (A) which have generally offsetting provisions (i.e. corresponding pricing mechanics, delivery dates and points and volumes) such that no “position” is taken and (B) for which appropriate credit support has been taken to alleviate the material credit risks of the counterparty thereto.

  • EXTRA-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES 1. In this agreement, extra-curricular programs and activities include all those that are beyond the provincially prescribed and locally determined curricula of the school.

  • Professional Activities The Superintendent is expected to attend appropriate professional meetings at the local and state levels, and, subject to prior Board approval, at the national level. All reasonable expenses incurred shall be paid by the Board.

  • Eligible Activities 7.1 Subject to the provisions of this Article, the PERFORMING PARTY agrees to complete all Grant Activities as described in the Scope of Work and in accordance with the Contract Documents.

  • CONCERTED ACTIVITIES 24.1 It is agreed and understood that there will be no strike, work stoppage, slow-down, or refusal or failure to fully and faithfully perform job functions and responsibilities, or other interference with the operations of the District by the Federation, or by any of the Federation's officers, agents, or members during the term of this Agreement, including compliance with the request of other labor organizations to engage in such activity.
