Extra Duties. The Trustee shall be entitled to refuse to approve any Substituted Obligor if, pursuant to the law of the jurisdiction of incorporation of the Substituted Obligor, the assumption by the Substituted Obligor of its obligations hereunder imposes responsibilities on the Trustee over and above those which have been assumed under this Trust Deed.
Extra Duties. Attached hereto and marked Appendix B is a list of the extra duties with pay, which will be effective with the individual teacher’s contract for the stated academic year, available to teachers in the Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation. Teachers assigned to extra duties by the Board will be paid in addition to their base salary not to exceed the amount or amounts opposite said extra duties on Appendix B attached hereto.
Extra Duties. Extra work for which the teacher receives extra pay shall be performed outside the normal contract hours unless otherwise designated by the Board.
Extra Duties. Section 38.1 It is mutually understood that the education profession necessarily involves the acceptance of responsibilities that go beyond the normal work day. It is further understood that some "after hours" assignments are compensable by the Employer as beyond the normal scope of teaching responsibilities.
Extra Duties. 6.4.1 Each spring, and within 10 days of the end of the school year, each departments, as identified in the Extra Duty Salary Schedule, will recommend to the site principal the department chair selection for the next school year. The recommendation will come from popular vote by the department. The site principal will make the final recommendation to the Board of Trustees.
Extra Duties. Paragraph 1: While participation in extra activities including in-service and com- mittee activities beyond the professional day may be encouraged by the Board or administration, the same will be voluntary in nature unless required by the responsibilities as set forth in Sections A, B, or C above, or unless required by the Supplemental Salary Section of the Teacher Compensation Article. Paragraph 2: Regular duties assigned in addition to the responsibilities set forth should be compensated and set forth in a Supplemental Salary Schedule, and once compensation is so set, accepted and added to a Supplemental Salary Schedule as set forth in the Teacher Compensation Article, such duties shall be fully per- formed in a professional manner.
Extra Duties. In the scheduling of extra duties, the Association chairperson of each building will be consulted by the principal in the building in order that an equitable arrangement may be achieved.
Extra Duties a) When teachers are assigned extra duties, as club and class advisors, such duties will be reflected on the individual contracts. Teachers will be the class advisors to the class which contains their (T-A) advisees; the advisors on a shared basis shall supervise homecoming activities and class events.
Extra Duties. When a vacancy or an absence longer than five (5) working days occurs, the work unit supervisor shall prepare a written work plan for the distribution of work which will be shared with all employees in the work unit. If the work plan results in the partial distribution of essential functions of a higher classified job, each employee assigned those duties and responsibilities outside of their own classification shall receive an additional two percent (2%) of their regular pay as extra duties’ compensation during the duration of the work plan assignments. Such compensation shall be retroactive to the first day of the assignment. The assignments shall be evaluated in the annual performance evaluation.
Extra Duties. Thirty (30) hours of extra duties outside of the school day per year, shall be assigned to each teacher. No more than twenty (20) hours will be utilized for up to two (2) hours each month for faculty meetings outside the school day. The remaining hours shall be assigned at the discretion of the Principal. The administration will strive to publish a schedule by September 1st.
