The scope of Works includes the detailed design, engineering, drawings, procurement, manufacture, quality control & assurance, supply, delivery, installation, commissioning, testing, handing over, and maintenance during the guarantee period of all materials and equipment necessary for the complete Control and Instrumentation scope at Majuba Power Station. The Contractor reads this Works Information in conjunction with the rest of this contract in its entirety, including tender drawings and standards. In addition to the requirements stated herein, the Contractor: Provides for all actuators and drives as per Annexure B “Drive and Actuator Schedule”. Provides for all instrumentation as per Annexure B “Instrument Schedule”. Provides for all interfaces as per Annexure B “IO Function Block Diagram”. Provides all plant, materials and services as shown in Annexure B “Limits of Supply and Services”. Provides for all interfaces as per Annexure B “Panel Interface List”. Provides all signals in Annexure B “Virtual Signal List”. The Contractor amends any of the above appendices, where necessary (to assign responsibilities based on the Contractor’s sub-contracting strategy etc…), where an error or omission has been made by the Employer, or to cater for the Contractor’s design, to fulfil the requirements of the Works and submits the appendices to the Project Manager for approval. The Contractor adopts the above appendices as templates for the Works. All submissions of these appendices conform to these templates. EXTENT OF THE WORKS. The works consists of the supply and installation of the following: Zero depth water feature Reinforced concrete water feature with a polished finish and two types of fountain nozzles. Pond Multi-leveled reinforced concrete pond with granite weirs.
EXTENT OF THE WORKS. The three projects have been clustered as indicated in the Locality Map and Schedule attached as Annexure A. The table below provides an indication on the route length, number of intersections, and approximate number of guidance, regulatory and warning signs that are currently located along each route. Please note that this is the total number of signs along the route, and not necessarily the number of signs that need to be replaced or new signs to be installed. EXTENT OF THE WORKS. The Works include, unless otherwise specified, the supply, installation, testing and commissioning, and delivery up clean and in working order of the installations shown on the Drawings and specified in the Specifications, including all details such as:- Cold and hot water pipes, discharge pipes (the term discharge pipe is used as a comprehensive all-embracing description in place of the traditional soil and waste terms), drain and ventilating pipes, valves, fire fighting installations and equipment, thermal insulation, etc., and all labour, materials, tools, instruments and scaffolding necessary to execute the work in a first-class manner. The Contractor shall undertake all modifications demanded by the Authorities in order to comply with the current regulations and produce all certificates, if any, from the Authorities without extra charge.
EXTENT OF THE WORKS. The routine maintenance work to be performed as part of this Contract mainly consists of the activities listed below to be carried out on all Major and District surfaced and unsurfaced roads in the LMA. Additional works to minor roads will only be carried out upon specific request from the Client. This list is not necessarily complete nor will it limit the extent of work to be carried out under this Contract.

EXTENT OF THE WORKS. The description of the work contained in the Extent of Work is merely an outline of the work to be executed in terms of the contract and shall not limit the work to be carried out by the Contractor. Estimated quantities of each type of work to be carried out are listed in the Bill of Quantities. The planned rehabilitation and construction measures are shown on the construction drawings.
