Common use of Extent of Service Clause in Contracts

Extent of Service. During the Employment Period, and excluding any periods of vacation and sick leave to which Executive is entitled, Executive agrees to devote his business time, attention, skill and efforts exclusively to the faithful performance of his duties hereunder; provided, however, that it shall not be a violation of this Agreement for Executive to (i) devote reasonable periods of time to charitable and community activities and, with the approval of the Company, industry or professional activities, and/or (ii) manage personal business interests and investments, so long as such activities do not materially interfere with the performance of Executive’s responsibilities under this Agreement.

Extent of Service. During the Employment Period, however, that it shall not be a violation of this Agreement for Executive Executive, subject to the requirements of Section 11, to (i) devote reasonable periods of time to serve on civic or charitable and community activities and, with the approval of the Company, industry boards or professional activities, and/or committees or (ii) manage personal business interests and investments, so long as such activities do not materially interfere with the performance of Executive’s responsibilities under this Agreementto the Employer or violate the Employer’s conflicts of interest or other applicable policies.

Extent of Service. During the Employment Period, and excluding any periods of vacation and sick leave to which Executive is entitled, Executive agrees to devote his business time, attention, skill and efforts exclusively to the faithful performance of his duties hereunder; provided, however, that it shall not be a violation of this Agreement for Executive to (i) devote reasonable periods of time to charitable and community activities and, with the approval of the CompanyBoard, housing mortgage related industry or professional activities, and/or (ii) manage personal business interests and investments, so long as such activities do not materially interfere with the performance of Executive’s responsibilities duties under this Agreement. During the Employment Period, Executive agrees to conduct himself in compliance with the Bank’s Code of Conduct.

During the Employment Period, and excluding any periods of vacation and vacation, sick or other leave to which Executive is entitledentitled under this Agreement, Executive agrees to devote his all of Executive's business time, attention, skill time and efforts exclusively to serving the faithful performance business and affairs of his duties hereunder; providedthe Employer commensurate with Executive's offices. During the Employment Period, however, that it shall not be a violation of this Agreement for Executive Executive, subject to the requirements of Section 11, to (i) devote reasonable periods of time to serve on civic or charitable and community activities and, with the approval of the Company, industry boards or professional activities, and/or committees or (ii) manage personal business interests and investments, so long as such activities do not materially interfere with the performance of Executive’s 's responsibilities under this Agreementto the Employer or violate the Employer's conflicts of interest or other applicable policies.

Extent of Service. During the Employment PeriodTerm, and excluding any periods of vacation and vacation, holiday, sick leave and Company-approved leave of absence to which Executive is entitledentitled in accordance with Company policies, Executive agrees to devote substantially all of his business time, attention, skill and efforts exclusively to the faithful performance of his duties hereunder; provided, however, that it . It shall not be a violation of this Agreement for Executive to (i) devote reasonable periods of time to charitable and or community activities and, with the approval of the Company, industry or professional activities, and/or (ii) manage personal business interests and investments, so long as such activities do not materially interfere with the performance of Executive’s responsibilities under this Agreement.,

During the Employment Period, and excluding any periods of vacation and sick leave to which Executive is entitled, Executive agrees to devote his reasonable business time, attention, skill time and efforts exclusively attention during normal business hours to the faithful performance of his duties hereunder; provided, however, that it shall not be a violation of this Agreement for Executive to (i) devote reasonable periods of time to charitable and community activities and, with the approval of the CompanyCentura, industry or professional activities, and/or (ii) manage personal business interests and investments, so long as such activities do not materially interfere with the performance of Executive’s 's responsibilities under this Agreement.

Extent of Service. During the Employment Period, and excluding any periods of vacation and vacation, sick or other leave to which Executive is entitledentitled under this Agreement, Executive agrees to devote his all of Executive’s business time, attention, skill time and efforts exclusively to serving the faithful performance business and affairs of his duties hereunder; providedthe Employer commensurate with Executive’s offices. During the Employment Period, however, that it shall not be a violation of this Agreement for Executive Executive, subject to the requirements of Section 11, to (i) devote reasonable periods of time to serve on civic or charitable and community activities and, with the approval of the Company, industry boards or professional activities, and/or committees or (ii) manage personal business interests and investments, so long as such activities do not materially interfere with the performance of Executive’s responsibilities under this Agreementto the Employer or violate the Employer’s conflicts of interest or other applicable policies.

Extent of Service. During the Employment Period, and excluding any periods of vacation and sick leave to which Executive is entitled, Executive agrees to devote his reasonable attention and time during normal business time, attention, skill and efforts exclusively hours to the faithful performance business and affairs of his duties the Company and, to the extent necessary to discharge the responsibilities assigned to Executive hereunder; provided, however, that to use Executive's reasonable best efforts to perform faithfully and efficiently such responsibilities. During the Employment Period it shall will not be a violation of this Agreement for Executive to (ia) devote reasonable periods of time to serve on corporate, civic or charitable boards or committees, and community activities and, with the approval of the Company, industry or professional activities, and/or (iib) manage personal business interests and investments, so long as such activities do not materially significantly interfere with the performance of Executive’s 's responsibilities under as an employee of the Company in accordance with this Agreement.

During the Employment Period it shall will not be a violation of this Agreement for Executive to (i) devote reasonable periods of time to serve on corporate, civic or charitable boards or committees, and community activities and, with the approval of the Company, industry or professional activities, and/or (ii) manage personal business interests and investments, so long as such activities do not materially significantly interfere with the performance of Executive’s 's responsibilities under as an employee of Regions in accordance with this Agreement.
