Extended School Year Pay Sample Clauses

Extended School Year Pay. The Extended School Year (ESY) is a federally mandated program (see Title 5 of the California Code of Regulations, section 3043). Certificated teachers who are employees of the district and are employed to provide services for students enrolled in the ESY will be paid their per diem rate proportional to the percentage of the day worked e.g., a half day would be compensated at 50% of the unit member's per diem rate. If the federal mandate as stated in Title 5, section 3043 is suspended, the rate of pay will be the summer school rate of $30.00 per hour.
