Extended School Year Employees. (Full and Part Time) Employees who are contracted to work at least two hundred (200) but less than two hundred sixty (260) days per year are extended school-year employees. Employees who are contracted to work forty (40) hours per week shall be full-time extended school-year employees. Employees who are contracted to work at least twenty (20), but less than forty (40) hours per week shall be part-time extended school-year employees.

  • Cyclic Year Employment The Employer may fill a position with a cyclic year appointment for positions scheduled to work less than twelve (12) full months each year, due to known, recurring periods in the annual cycle when the position is not needed. At least fifteen (15) days before the start of each annual cycle, incumbents of cyclic year positions will be informed, in writing, of their scheduled periods of leave without pay in the ensuing cycle.   • DNR Employees An employee of the Department of Natural Resources may meet the basic eligibility requirement for participation in the Group Insurance Program based on a combination of seasonal and temporary project employment. Eligibility commences after completion of three (3) years of continuous service in which the basic eligibility requirements are met; continues until the employee completes a year in which the basic eligibility requirements are not met; and commences again after the employee meets or is anticipated to meet the basic eligibility requirements in one (1) year.
