Extended Limited Contracts. The Superintendent may recommend reemployment of the bargaining unit member, if continuing service status has not previously been attained elsewhere, under an extended limited contract for a term not to exceed two (2) years, provided the Superintendent gives the member written reasons directed at the professional improvement of the member on or before the thirtieth (30th) day of April. Upon subsequent reemployment of the bargaining unit member only a continuing contract may be entered into. To the extent that this procedure for granting an extended limited contract differs with that found in Ohio Revised Code Section 3319.11, the parties intend that this provision replaces and supersedes same.

Extended Limited Contracts. 1. The Superintendent may recommend reemployment of the teacher, if continuing service status has not previously been attained elsewhere, under an extended limited contract for a term not to exceed two (2) years, provided the Superintendent gives the teacher written reasons directed at the professional improvement of the teacher on or before June 1st. Upon subsequent reemployment of the teacher only a continuing contract may be entered into.
Extended Limited Contracts. A Member who is eligible for a continuing contract may be issued an extended limited contract for a one or two-year duration. Said Member must be provided written reasons, directed at professional improvement (based on his/her evaluations) on or before the 1st day of June. This sub section shall replace and supersede the provisions of Ohio Revised Code 3319.11 with regard to employment under an extended limited contract.
Extended Limited Contracts. A teacher who has met all the qualifications and contractual notification requirements for continuing contract but has not corrected noted deficiencies documented during the evaluation process, may be notified of these continued deficiencies in writing by the Superintendent, as confirmed by the Board, on or before June 1. In the event a teacher is notified of these noted deficiencies and is further notified that the Board intends to provide an extended limited contact, not to exceed two (2) years. If the teacher is reemployed at the end of the extended limited contract, he/she will be given a continuing contract.

  • Extended Contract Teachers whose regularly assigned service is required beyond 196 days will be paid at the rate of 1/196 of their annual contracted salary for each day of service.
