Common use of Extended Leave Clause in Contracts

Extended Leave. An Employee may be granted extended leave without pay or benefits, subject to approval of the Board, for health; illness of spouse, child or parent; maternity; paternity; adoption; study; campaigning for or serving in public office; or professional activities. Such leaves are subject to the provisions of the Board policy on extended leaves.
