Extended Health. 9.4.7.3.1 Default level is: • $25 annual deductible single, couple or family • 100% reimbursement of eligible expenses including semi-private hospital room, • paramedical services at $750 per practitioner per person per year, • private duty nursing at $15,000 per year (after age 65 the lifetime maximum becomes $25,000), • hearing aid maximum at $1,000 in any four consecutive years, • international travel assistance for out-of-Canada coverage, • prescription drugs, and • other costs prescribed by a medical practitioner.
