Extended Employment. 1. Employees shall be reimbursed for any extensions of employment at their daily rate of pay, per their primary contract for the school year just completed, except as may be provided elsewhere in this Contract.

Extended Employment. A. Teachers, in any given year, who may be additionally employed for more than 187 contract days shall be paid at their daily rate of pay (1/187) of their current year’s contract salary.
Extended Employment. 1. Teachers regularly employed by the Board shall be given priority consideration in the staffing of any program established in addition to the regular school program, for which they are qualified to perform the duties of the position. Any teacher who is serving as head athletic coach when moved to Unit II may continue to serve in the coaching capacity for the remainder of the current school year, and up to two additional years, if a suitable replacement cannot be found from within the regularly employed county teaching staff.
Extended Employment. Bargaining unit members will be compensated at her/his per diem/hourly rate for work approved to be performed beyond the approved work year/day as stipulated in Section 13.2 with the exception of adjusted time. There will be no additional sick leave or Flex accrual for such work performed beyond the approved work year / workday. Sick leave or Flex days may not be accessed during the period of time that bargaining unit members are scheduled to perform work beyond her/his approved work year/day. Assignment of work beyond the approved workday / work year is subject to the approval of the director or other administrator authorized by the Superintendent.
Extended Employment. Teachers who are required to be employed in addition to the 186 contractual days or probationary teachers required to be employed 194 or 191 days as provided in Section 1, will be paid on a pro-rated salary, excluding summer teaching personnel. The School District may require of any teacher up to two (2) additional days of work for inservice training. Such activities may be scheduled on Saturday. Such teachers will be compensated at the average hourly pay, computed on the basis of the 8-hour day, being paid the entire teacher bargaining unit under the basic salary schedule and during the fiscal year in which the assignment is made. Teachers employed in the summer school program shall be paid at the summer school rate. The hourly rate for instructional staff development work (teachers teaching teachers) shall be equal to the summer school rate. The hourly rate for non-instructional staff development work shall be equal to the curriculum writing rate.

Extended Employment. 15.7.1 Teachers will be paid twenty (20) dollars per hour for each hour the teacher is required to work beyond the normal school day. Extended employment will be limited to Special Education IEP/MDC meetings, Principal Assigned Detentions, Four Rivers Meetings, Pre-K and Kindergarten Screenings/Registration, Drivers Education, and approved after school programs. Teachers qualifying for compensation under Appendix D, E, F are excluded from this provision when the requirement is related to the extra duty performed. Mileage reimbursement will apply when the requirement is at a location other than District # 6 premises.
