Extended Annual Leave. An employee desiring extended annual leave shall secure written permission from both the Municipality and the Association. Each employee shall be allowed thirty (30) days extended vacation leave without pay upon proper request. Such leave shall be used in conjunction with no less than a like amount of annual leave.

Extended Annual Leave. Deputies desiring to take eleven or more days of annual leave in any period of two consecutive months shall, if reasonably possible, submit a leave request (or leave requests) at least three months in advance of the date on which they first wish to take such leave.
Extended Annual Leave. 1. Consistent with the needs of the Employer, the Employer will make every effort to approve requests for annual leave for at least two consecutive weeks or more provided the employee has accrued sufficient annual leave.

  • Additional Annual Leave (a) Shift Worker as defined by the Act An employee is entitled to accrue an additional amount of paid annual leave, for each completed 12 month period of continuous service with the employer, of 1/52 of the number of ordinary hours worked by the employee, for the employer, as a Shift Worker as defined by the Act during that 12 month period. The additional paid annual leave set out in this sub-clause is not cumulative upon the additional paid annual leave set out in the next sub-clause 21.6(b). The entitlement set out in this sub-clause shall only apply in the event that it provides a more favourable outcome for the employee and, if it does, then sub-clause 21.6(b) shall not apply.

  • Taking Annual Leave (1) An employee may, on application approved by the Secretary, take annual leave in either of the following ways:
