Express Shipments. 1. The Parties recognise that electronic commerce plays an important role in increasing trade. To this end, to facilitate trade of express shipments in electronic commerce, the Parties shall ensure that their respective customs procedures are applied in a manner that is predictable, consistent and transparent.

In the event that a Party’s existing system does not ensure efficient clearance, it should adopt procedures to expedite express shipments. Such procedures shall:

These procedures shall: (a) provide a separate and expedited customs procedure for express shipment, and where applicable, use the WCO Guidelines for the Immediate Release of Consignment; (b) provide for the electronic submission and processing of information necessary for the release of an express shipment before the express shipment arrives; (c) to the extent possible, provide for clearance of certain goods with minimum 4-3 documentation; (d) provide for expeditious release of express shipments, within a period no greater than that required to ensure compliance with its legislation; and (e) under normal circumstances, provide that no customs duties will be assessed on, nor will formal entry documents be required for express shipments valued at US$100 or less.
Express Shipments. De Minimis The US requested that Canada and Mexico raise its de minimis threshold for small package/ express shipments to USD 800. Mexico agreed to USD 100, where no package would be assessed duties nor sales tax at or below that amount. The US-Mexico provision was global in scope (as opposed to applying to only North America). Canada agreed to a $150 with the following components: (a) Canadian dollars; (b) only $40 is sales tax free (meaning $110 is subject to sales tax); and (c) applies only to North American shipments. This concession is still higher than retailers deemed necessary to protect their domestic operations.

These procedures shall: (a) provide a separate and expedited customs procedure for express shipments; (b) provide for the submission and processing of information necessary for the release of an express shipment before the express shipment arrives; (c) allow submission of a single manifest covering all goods contained in a shipment transported by an express shipment service, through, if possible, electronic means; (d) to the extent possible, provide for clearance of certain goods with a minimum of documentation; (e) under normal circumstances, provide for clearance of express shipments within six hours after submission of the necessary customs documents, provided the shipment has arrived; (f) apply without regard to weight or customs value; and (g) provide, under normal circumstances, that no customs duties or taxes will be assessed on, nor will formal entry documents be required for, express shipments valued at US$200 or less. 2

  • Shipments The Vendor shall ship, deliver or provide ordered products or services within a commercially reasonable time after the receipt of the order from the TIPS Member. If a delay in said delivery is anticipated, the Vendor shall notify TIPS Member as to why delivery is delayed and shall provide an estimated time for completion of the order.   • How to Obtain Warranty Service The Warranty Holder must inspect the Flooring for Manufacturing Defects caused by improper milling, grading, staining and coating, and report any such defects to Cali Bamboo, prior to installation of the Flooring. To obtain warranty service, the Warranty Holder must contact Cali Bamboo’s Customer Experience Department: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx@xxxxxxxxxx.xxx/ 000-000-0000. Warranty claims must be received within 30 calendar days after the Warranty Holder identifies the Manufacturing Defect or other basis for a warranty claim. To be covered under this Cali Bamboo limited warranty, the Warranty Holder must provide documentation of sales order and proof that the Flooring was properly installed in accordance with the Installation Guide (defined below). Cali Bamboo reserves the right to retain a certified and independent flooring inspector to verify the Warranty Holder’s warranty claims. The determination of the flooring inspector regarding the warranty claim is not binding on either Cali Bamboo or on the Warranty Holder. A determination that does not verify the warranty claim shall not affect the Warranty Holder’s right to submit its claim to arbitration in accordance with the terms of the Arbitration Agreement (as defined in Cali Bamboo’s Terms and Conditions of Purchase). The performance of the inspection, however, if requested by Xxxx Xxxxxx and assuming that Xxxx Xxxxxx advances the full cost of the inspection as described above, is a requirement for the Warranty Holder to submit a warranty claim to arbitration under the Arbitration Agreement. Warranty Exclusions and Limitations: This limited warranty covers Flooring that is both (i) installed with strict adherence to Cali Bamboo’s GeoWood flooring installation guide found online at xxxxx://xxx.xxxxxxxxxx.xxx/flooring-installation/ (the “Installation Guide”) and (ii) maintained in accordance with Cali Bamboo’s GeoWood flooring care and maintenance guidelines found online at xxxxx://xxx.xxxxxxxxxx.xxx/floor-care-and-maintenance/ (the “Maintenance Guide”). Cali Bamboo will provide copies of these guides upon request by the Warranty Holder. This limited warranty only applies when the Flooring is used under normal traffic and other usage conditions. The limited warranty for Manufacturing Defects does not apply after the Warranty Holder has installed the Flooring, and product variation or error that does not exceed the 5% industry standard is not considered a Manufacturing Defect for purposes of this limited warranty. This limited warranty does not extend to or cover:
