If the closest wage rate is less than $0.20 cents per hour higher than the rate the employee is currently at, the employee will be moved up one additional step and their over scale will then progress based on the hours of that step. Employees at the time of ratification with current rates not in the new Service Clerk Progression will be slotted into the rate that provides an increase, unless the Minimum Wage Letter requires a higher rate. LUMP SUM BONUS Effective within Employees who remain at the same progression step upon ratification will keep accumulated hours at the step and progress from there. Employees who move to a higher progression step will be required to work all of the hours of the new progression level before receiving the next progression increase. Any wage increases due as a result of this provision will not be effective until thirty (30) days following June 8after ratification. Effective the Monday after ratification, 2015, twentya fifty-five cents cent ($0.250.55) per hour bonus wage increase shall be paid to employees at the Thereafter/Experienced rate and above (including excluding Utility Clerks). Effective June 5, 2023, a fifty-five cent ($0.55) per hour wage increase shall be paid to employees at the Thereafter/Experienced rate and above scale(excluding Utility Clerks). Effective June 4, 2023, a fifty-five cent ($0.55) based on straightper hour wage increase shall be paid to employees at the Thereafter/Experienced rate and above (excluding Utility Clerks). In the event Ralphs Grocery Company (Ralphs) and the Locals reach a recommended MOA and Ralphs agrees to a rate increase for 2022 and 2023 that is greater than $0.55, Food 4 Less will increase its 2022 and 2023 rate increase to match the Ralphs rate increase. If the Ralphs 2022 increase is effective after June 5, 2022, the Food 4 Less increase will be effective the date the Ralphs Memorandum of Agreement is ratified. In no event will any Food 4 Less increase to be retroactive to June 5, 2022. RATIFICATION BONUS Within thirty (30) days of ratification, all Thereafter rate and above employees (except Utility Clerks) who have met one (1) year or more of service, who have been continuously employed, and worked at least forty (40) hours from the expiration of the contract through to the date of ratification, shall receive a ratification bonus (less applicable withholdings and taxes, of five hundred ($500.00) for a full-time employee and three hundred fifty dollars ($350.00) for a part- time employee. For purposes of this bonus, a full-time employee is one who has averaged thirty- six (36) hours or more hours worked in or paid during the twelve month period immediately fifty-two (52) weeks preceding June 8ratification. Within thirty (30) days of ratification, 2015Utility Clerks who have met one (1) year or more of service who have been continuously employed, and worked at least forty (40) hours from the expiration of the contract through to the date of ratification, shall receive a ratification bonus (less applicable withholdings and taxes) of one hundred fifty dollars ($150.00). To receive these bonuses, employees must also be presently employed by the Employer at the time the bonus is paid.
