Experience and Education. The WPM is a veteran project manager with two years service working on Owner projects as well as extensive project management experience in other areas of the telecommunications industry. The WPM has proven to have strong leadership, organizational and personal relations skills and has achieved or is in pursuit of accreditation as a Professional Project Manager (PMP).
Experience and Education. Total maximum advancement at initial placement for a combination of experience and education shall not exceed two (2) years; thus, Step 3 is the maximum initial placement step above what is required at entry level.

Experience and Education. An Associates Degree (or higher) from an accredited college or university with major course work in fire science, fire science technology, public or business administration, or related field is desirable. A minimum of five (5) years of increasing experience in firefighting, two (2) years as a company officer or equivalent preferred. Five years experience in fire prevention or code enforcement or equivalent. Any combination of experience or training that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities. Principles, techniques, materials, equipment, strategy and tactics used in fire suppression, investigation, prevention, and incident command. Principles and practices of providing emergency medical response. Basic hazardous materials and chemical spill response. Safety standards for operation of vehicles, support equipment, tools and operating procedures for fire service operations. Occupational hazards and safety practices related to the protection of employees and the public. Maintaining accurate records and preparing clear and concise reports and other written materials. Must be physically fit and submit to an annual physical exam.
