Recipient shall create and maintain all expenditure records in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and in sufficient detail to permit ODOT to verify how the Grant Funds were expended. This Section 8 shall survive any expiration or termination of this Agreement.

If there are unresolved audit questions at the end of the six-year period, Grantee shall retain the records until the questions are resolved. The Grantee agrees to allow OPRD, Oregon Secretary of State auditors, the United States Department of Transportation, the Federal Highway Administration and any of their duly authorized representatives access to all records related to this Agreement for audit and inspection and monitoring of services.
