Existing Employee. An explanation of this Agreement by MSDA and at least 7 full days will be given to an existing employee to consider this Agreement before signing. There will be discussion between MSDA and the employee on any queries or concerns. This Agreement will take effect from the date it is approved by the Industrial Relations Commission of New South Wales.

Existing Employee. Anyone occupying a permanent position in the Michigan Department of Transportation in one of the above cited classes prior to the effective date of this agreement.
Existing Employee. When the acceptability of the driver record of any current employee who drives a school vehicle is in doubt, it is the responsibility of the superintendent to ascertain the relevant facts, and to make the final determination in keeping with the requirements of this policy.

  • Existing Employees Existing employees who are covered by the coverage clause of this Agreement may become union members at any time. Employees shall, from the date of becoming union members, be bound by all the benefits and obligations relating to employees under this Agreement.

  • Terminating Employees A) When a regular employee with more than twelve (12) months’ service terminates employment, the Employer shall pay for vacation entitlement accrued to the date of termination, less vacation pay if any, paid in accordance with this Article.   • Contract Employee Check this option when the Department requires a renewal or other amendment to the performance of a Contract Employee.

  • Replacement Employee Should a replacement Employee be engaged, the replacement Employee is to be informed prior to engagement of the fixed term nature of the employment and of the rights of the Employee, who is being replaced, including that the engagement may be subject to variation according to 6.10.3 (d) and ability to extend unpaid Maternity Leave as provided for under sub-clause 6.10.10.

  • Post-Retirement Employment Unit members who retire from the University during the term of this Agreement may propose a post-retirement appointment of up to three years duration. During this post-retirement appointment, the total of retirement benefits and post-retirement salary paid by the University shall not exceed the salary paid at the time of retirement. The annual compensation received from the University for the post-retirement appointment shall not exceed fifty (50) percent of the annual salary at the time of retirement. The duties for a post-retirement appointment shall be defined and agreed to in writing by the bargaining unit member and the Employer/University Administration prior to the bargaining unit member's retirement. Such appointments are at the discretion of the Employer/University Administration and are subject to existing law and all rules and regulations of the State Retirement Board. The decision of the Employer/University Administration not to approve a proposal for a post-retirement appointment shall not be grievable under the Grievance and Arbitration Procedure, Article 7.

  • Term Employee Term employee means a new person employed without seniority for a specific time period or until the completion of a particular project in compliance with funding provided for that position or project. At the expiry of said term the employment of such employee shall be terminated unless the term employee is immediately hired as a full-time or part-time employee at which time the term employee's original starting date shall be utilized to establish their seniority.
