Exhaust Fans. Resident shall consistently use exhaust fans in bathrooms, kitchens and utility rooms. Exhaust fans on automatic timers shall not be tampered with or turned off. Exhaust of moist air is essential in the prevention of moisture accumulation and mold growth. Hint: Allow exhaust fan to run during and 10 minutes after all showers; Use exhaust fan in utility room while doing laundry.

Exhaust Fans. Provide DDC start/stop control and status of twelve (12) exhaust fans. The exhaust fan starters are located in three different locations in the building. Some starters control multiple exhaust fans. Starter locations noted below:  Closet near kindergarten area. (Qty. – 2 starters, 3 EFs)  Corridor near admin area. Exhaust Fans. Preventative maintenance service to be performed annually per manufacturer’s recommendation: • Check all electrical wiring and connections and tighten. • Check all motor starter contactor surfaces for wear. • Clean starter and electrical control enclosures. • Lubricate motor bearings and fan bearings. • Check exhaust fan belts for wear, replace as required. • Check belt tension and sheave alignment. Adjust as required. • Inspect exhaust fan unit assembly. • Check all mounting hardware. Tighten as required.
