Establishment of Joint Liaison Committee. The Employer and the Union hereby agree to establish a Joint Liaison Committee to consist of three (3) representatives of each Party with each Party selecting its own representatives subject to its sole discretion. This Committee may call upon additional persons for technical information or advice. The Committee may establish sub-committees or ad hoc committees as it deems necessary and shall set terms of reference for such committees. These sub-committees and ad hoc committees shall all consist of equal numbers of representatives of each Party, with each Party selecting its own representatives. Note: The matter of staff development may be discussed in the Joint Liaison Committee.

Establishment of Joint Liaison Committee. The Employer and the Union hereby agree to establish a Joint Liaison Committee to consist of two (2) representatives of each Party, with each Party selecting its own representatives subject to its sole discretion. The Union specifically agrees that its representatives must be Employees in the bargaining unit who have completed their probation period. The Employer agrees that said internal representatives of the Union may be assisted at any meeting of the Joint Liaison Committee by a full-time Union representative from outside of the bargaining unit, the latter of whom shall have voice but no vote recognition. When such external representative of the Union is present, another representative of the Employer, with voice but no vote, shall also have the right to attend to ensure equal representation on this Committee.
