ESL Eligibility and Benefit Anniversary Date. Employees are eligible for the ESL program if they are in full-time or part-time status. Employees in a Per Diem status are not eligible for ESL. The Benefit Anniversary Date is the date that an employee becomes eligible for ESL benefits. This is generally the same as an employee’s hire date anniversary, but could be a rehire date.
