ES&H POLICY. Every Subcontractor employee is entitled to a safe and healthy work environment and the Subcontractor retains responsibility for the safety of its employees. In performing work under this subcontract, the Subcontractor shall perform work safely, in a manner that ensures adequate protection for employees, the public, and the environment, and shall be accountable for the safe performance of work. The Subcontractor shall comply with all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations governing the safety and health of employees and the environment. The Subcontractor shall exercise a degree of care commensurate with the work and the associated hazards. The Subcontractor shall ensure that management of ES&H functions and activities becomes an integral and visible part of the Subcontractor’s work planning and execution process.

  • Harassment Policy It is the policy of CUPE as an Employer to ensure that the working environment is conducive to the performance of work and is such that employees are not hindered from carrying out their responsibilities.   • EMPLOYMENT POLICY 6.01 The Union and the Employer will cooperate in maintaining a desirable and competent labour force.
