EQUIVALENT. BIDS Bidders may offer equipment of the same capability, but of different manufacture and model than that specified in this bid. The use of the name of a Manufacturer, brand, make or catalog designation in specifying items described herein does not restrict Bidders from offering equivalent bids. Such a designation is used to indicate the character, quality and performance equivalence desired. However, acceptance of an equivalent product will be strictly at the discretion of the College. Furthermore, proof and/or demonstration of equivalence, compatibility and performance shall be incumbent upon the Bidder.
