Equity in Tenure and Promotion. The Parties recognize that there may be differences between the careers of men and women. These differences include, but are not limited to, the effects of primary responsibility for family care and related career interruptions, part-time education, and work history. The following measures shall be implemented to protect against forms of systemic discrimination which are a product of these career differences:

Equity in Tenure and Promotion. The Parties recognize that there may be differences between the careers of men and women. These differences include but are not limited to the effects of primary responsibility for family care and related career interruptions, part- time and work history. The following measures shall be implemented to protect against forms of systemic discrimination which are a product of these career differences: the University is committed to creating an environmentwhere these differences in career histories and family responsibilitiesdo not bias appointment decisions, the evaluation of candidates in peer review processes, University grants, merit awards, and salary adjustments. Where such barriers are proven to exist, the University, in consultationwith the Association, shall eliminate such barriers to equal opportunity and career advancement. an employment equity representative shall sit as a non-voting member of the Senate Promotion and Tenure Committee. This person shall be selected by agreement between the President and the President of the Association from a list of Members approved annually by the Joint Liaison Committee. This person shall act as a resource to the Committee on equity processes, procedures and issues, and shall submit an annual report to the President and the President of the Association with a copy to the chair of the Senate Promotionand Tenure Committee.

  • Operations Logs Seller shall maintain a complete and accurate log of all material operations and maintenance information on a daily basis. Such log shall include, but not be limited to, information on power production, fuel consumption, efficiency, availability, maintenance performed, outages, results of inspections, manufacturer recommended services, replacements, electrical characteristics of the generators, control settings or adjustments of equipment and protective devices. Seller shall maintain this information for at least two (2) years and shall provide this information electronically to Buyer within one day of Buyer’s request.

  • Conduct of Local Church Operations From the date of this Disaffiliation Agreement through and until the Closing, the Local Church: (a) will conduct its operations substantially in accordance with past practice and will use commercially reasonable efforts, subject to the foregoing, to maintain and preserve its operations and organization consistent with past practice and efficient and economical management, (b) will not take any action that is inconsistent with its charitable purposes under Section 501(c)(3) of the Code or that otherwise adversely affects its tax-exempt status, and (c) will not take any action that would cause its representations and warranties in this Disaffiliation Agreement not to remain true and correct as of Closing, except with the prior written consent of the Annual Conference.

  • Marketing and Promotion The School will be responsible for marketing and promoting the Sports Facilities in accordance with the agreed aims and targets. A marketing strategy will be prepared and implemented and reviewed on an annual basis.

  • Community Involvement The Grantee will facilitate and convene a Community Task Force as one means of developing collaboration among the Grantee, affected residents, and the broader community. The Grantee also will provide information to keep the Community Task Force fully apprised of the planning and implementation of revitalization efforts. The Community Task Force shall be comprised of affected public housing residents, local government officials, service providers, community groups, and others. The Community Task Force will provide advice, counsel and recommendations to the Grantee on all aspects of the HOPE VI development process, including shaping the goals and outcome of the Community and Supportive Services Plan. Community Task Force participants also will disseminate information throughout the community about the Grantee's revitalization efforts. The Grantee's responsibilities with regard to the Community Task Force include:

  • Mergers, Reorganizations and Equity Transfers Each of the Company and any Sponsor Affiliates acknowledges that any mergers, reorganizations or consolidations of the Company and such Sponsor Affiliates may cause the Project to become ineligible for negotiated fees in lieu of taxes under the FILOT Act absent compliance by the Company and such Sponsor Affiliates with the Transfer Provisions; provided that, to the extent provided by Section 12-44- 120 of the FILOT Act or any successor provision, any financing arrangements entered into by the Company or any Sponsor Affiliates with respect to the Project and any security interests granted by the Company or any Sponsor Affiliates in connection therewith shall not be construed as a transfer for purposes of the Transfer Provisions. Notwithstanding anything in this Fee Agreement to the contrary, it is not intended in this Fee Agreement that the County shall impose transfer restrictions with respect to the Company, any Sponsor Affiliates or the Project as are any more restrictive than the Transfer Provisions.

  • VACANCIES, TRANSFERS AND PROMOTIONS A. A vacancy shall be defined as a newly-created position or a present position that is not filled.
