Environmental Health. Whenever possible, environmentally friendly products will be used in the workplace. The Union and the Employer will participate in the promotion of environmentally friendly activities to promote a safe and clean work environment. The Employer will maintain compliance with any further Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) regulations.

Environmental Health. (i) Maintain all premises in a sanitary condition (ii) Facilitate inspection visits by Public Health Inspectors of the MoH with respect to sanitary conditions at its health facilities and implement any remedial action within the given timeframes
Environmental Health a. Are there any environmental health hazards, including exposure to toxic chemicals, risk of fire and explosion, spill or hazardous waste, that could occur as a result of this proposal? If so, describe. This is a non-project action. The environmental health hazards, if any, associated with future development of the Sites pursuant to the development agreement are not likely to differ significantly from what is likely to result from future development of these Sites without the development agreement. Future development subject to the proposed development agreement will be subject to project-level environmental review.
Environmental Health. 2.1 Works in partnership with the public health physician and other relevant authorities to develop skills in understanding and managing vector borne disease.
Environmental Health. 31.1 The Supplier shall ensure compliance with any direction given by the Secretary of State and/or any statutory provisions including the Environmental Protection Xxx 0000 and the Waste Minimisation Act 1998 as amended and any other relevant legislation relating to environmental protection.
Environmental Health. Education Northwest shall make all reasonable efforts to maintain office and work areas in an environmentally healthy condition. Education Northwest shall communicate regularly with the building management where office and storage space is leased to review proper lighting, air circulation and quality, ventilation, and sanitation facilities. Education Northwest will conduct an ergonomic review of employee workspaces, upon request, to identify and resolve issues that arise during the year.
Environmental Health. Environmental Health Officers will be contacted by PHE during an outbreak, and will form part of the OIMT where necessary. Out of Hours they will be contacted through their out of hours arrangements (or through CSW Resilience). Environmental Health Officers will be responsible for the following:- • Investigating potential sources/causes of outbreak/incident and secure relevant improvements as appropriate where the local authority is the enforcing authority e.g. for food safety, health and safety and health protection. • Provide help and advice with the epidemiological aspects of the outbreak/incident, including the investigation of cases (and contacts where appropriate). • Provide the mechanisms for out of hours communications with the CCDC, OIMT, the public and other stakeholders as appropriate. • Be responsible for arranging the collection and transport of appropriate specimens to the laboratory for screening of patients, contacts and staff, as well as food, water and environmental sampling. • Undertaking any necessary enforcement action and monitor the progress of the investigation (e.g. sources/causes, cases/affected individuals, contacts within their area)
Environmental Health. Provides advice and support to the business community whilst recognising that Environmental Health is mainly an enforcement and advisory service engaged in responding to complaints and requests for assistance/advice as well as proactive inspection and public health programmes. The service is structured into two main sections:- Food and Licensing, Industry and Pollution. The Food and Licensing division inspects food premises and examines food for composition, quality and labelling. Premises are inspected at varying frequencies according to the risk they present. They are responsible for both Public Entertainment and Public Control Licensing and for licensing under the Licensing Act 2003 providing advice. Other important areas of responsibility include Animal Health and the Control of Infectious Disease. An advice service is also provided for businesses. The Industry and Pollution Division deals with Noise Control, Health and Safety at Work, Air Quality, Contaminated Land, Planning Applications and Advice, Statutory Nuisances from Pollution. Again, advice is available for businesses. (The Housing and Public Health section now forms part of the Community Services’ Housing Department. It is responsible for House Renovation Grants, Houses in Multiple Occupation, General Disrepair of Private Sector Housing, General Public Health and Drainage, etc, Home Energy Conservation, Pest Control Service, Dog Warden Service as well as Caravan and Mobile Home Site Licensing.)
