Environmental Factors. The Borrower/Recipient and the Project Parties shall take all reasonable measures to ensure that the Project is carried out with due diligence in regard to environmental factors and in conformity with national environmental laws and any international treaties to which the Project Member State may be party. In particular, the Project Parties shall maintain appropriate pest management practices under the Project and, to that end, shall comply with the principles of the International Code of Conduct on the Distribution and Use of Pesticides of the Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations (FAO), as amended, and ensure that pesticides procured under the Project do not include any pesticide formulation which would be classified as Extremely Hazardous (Class Ia) or Highly Hazardous (Class Ib) according to The WHO Recommended Classification of Pesticides by Hazard, as amended.
