Enrollee Communications. CMS and the State agree that Enrollee and prospective Enrollee materials, in all forms, shall require prior approval by CMS and the State unless CMS and the State agree that one or the other entity is authorized to review and approve such documents on behalf of CMS and the State. CMS and the State will also work to develop pre-approved documents that may be used, under certain circumstances, without additional CMS or State approval. All materials shall be integrated and include, but not be limited to: outreach and education materials; enrollment and disenrollment materials; benefit coverage information; and operational letters for enrollment, disenrollment, claims or service denials, complaints, internal appeals, external appeals, and provider terminations. Such uniform/integrated materials will be required to be accessible and understandable to the Enrollees and prospective Enrollees in the Demonstration Plans and their caregivers. This includes individuals with disabilities, including, but not limited to, those with cognitive and functional limitations and those with limited English proficiency, in accordance with current Federal guidelines for Medicare and Medicaid. Where Medicare and Medicaid standards differ, the standard providing the greatest access to individuals with disabilities or limited English proficiency will apply.

CMS and California will also work to develop pre-approved documents that may be used, under certain circumstances, without additional CMS or State approval. CMS and California will develop integrated materials that include, but not be limited to: outreach and education materials; enrollment and disenrollment materials; benefit coverage information; and operational letters for enrollment, disenrollment, claims or service denials, complaints, internal appeals, external appeals, and provider terminations. Where Medicare and Medicaid standards differ, the standard providing the greatest access to individuals with disabilities or limited English proficiency will apply.
Enrollee Communications. Materials designed to communicate covered services, policies, processes and/or Enrollee rights to Enrollees. This includes pre-enrollment, post-enrollment, and operational materials.

  • Privilege for Communications The official communications of the Bank shall be accorded by each member the same treatment that it accords to the official communications of other members.

  • Hazard Communication Contractor will notify University prior to using products containing hazardous chemicals to which University employees may be exposed. Products containing hazardous chemicals are those products defined by Oregon Administrative Rules, Chapter 437. Upon University's request, Contractor will immediately provide Material Safety Data Sheets, as required by OAR Chapter 437, for the products subject to this provision.

  • Union Communications (a) The Employer will provide a bulletin board for the exclusive use of the Union. The sites will be determined by mutual agreement. The use of the bulletin boards is restricted to the affairs of the Union.

  • PUBLIC COMMUNICATION Neither the Contractor nor any of its Staff shall make any statement to the press or issue through any media of communication any statement bearing on the Services performed or data collected under this Agreement, without the prior written approval of OSC.
