End of Probation Increases. Employees hired (or promoted) between the minimum – midpoint (market) of range are eligible for a 4% increase upon successful completion of their probation. The nurse will be eligible for performance pay on their next anniversary date and annually thereafter, until the nurse reaches the maximum point of the salary range. If a nurse's work performance is deemed to be unsatisfactory, at least ninety (90) days prior to a nurse's anniversary date the supervisor shall counsel the nurse. The supervisor and nurse will develop a workplan, which will contain objective standards that the nurse must meet over the next ninety (90) days in order to bring their performance to a satisfactory level. The workplan will specify regular meetings between the nurse and supervisor to monitor progress. If the nurse's performance becomes satisfactory within ninety (90) days, they will be granted the step increase. If the nurse's work performance remains unsatisfactory, the County may deny the nurse a step increase.

  • Promotion Increases (a) Promotion salary increases shall be granted in an amount equal to 9.0% of the employee’s previous year’s base salary rate in recognition of promotion to one of the ranks described below:

  • Merit Increases (a) Subject to documented assessment and performance review undertaken pursuant to the Performance Management System, an employee on anniversary date may be granted an increase of up to five pay increments in the pay scale, not to exceed the control point maximum.

  • Rent Increases The Rent payable shall not be increased or otherwise modified during the Term of this Lease. Any increase in Rent shall only take effect after the expiration of the Term provided in this Lease. Any increase in Rent to take effect upon renewal or extension of the Term of this Lease must be preceded by a - day notice of the same from the Landlord to the Tenant.

  • Periodic Increases Periodic increases are provided as follows:

  • RENT INCREASE 6.1 The Landlord is entitled to increase the Rent payable under this tenancy, either during the Tenancy Term or any subsequent renewal or periodic term, on each anniversary of the start date of this tenancy (“The Rent Increase Date”). The increase will be a minimum 5% in addition to the current Rent payable. Should the Landlord elect to do so they will first serve written notice on the Tenant in accordance with these Tenancy Terms and Conditions of at least one calendar month prior to the Rent Increase Date (“the Rent Increase Notice”).

  • Extension of Probation The probationary period shall be regarded as part of the testing process and shall be utilized for closely observing the employee's work, for securing the most effective adjustment of an employee to a new position, and for rejecting any probationary employee whose performance does not meet the required standards of work. The Fire Chief may recommend, and the City Manager may extend, an employee's normal probationary period by a maximum of six months in two-month increments.

  • Submission of Salary Increases Recommendations for salary increases must be made to be effective on the first day of the month and must be submitted prior to the proposed effective date. However, retroactive six (6) month and annual salary increases to correct errors or oversights and retroactive payments resulting from grievance settlements shall be authorized. The proposed effective date for retroactive six (6) month and annual salary increases must be the first day of the month no more than twelve (12) months prior to the time of submitting the correcting recommendation.

  • Step Increases (a) The following is the method used to determine service credit, since the last date of hire, for purposes of positioning on the salary range:

  • Wage Increases The wage rates in this Agreement will only be increased in accordance with any increases which may be awarded by the Australian Fair Pay Commission through wage reviews. The level of any increases will be such that the percentage wage increase as set out in Clause 15 of this agreement will be maintained. No additional increases in wage rates will apply to the rate of pay in Clause 15 of this Agreement while it is in operation.

  • Longevity Increment All unit members who have completed the required years of District service, as defined below, shall be eligible to receive a longevity increment.
