End of Probation Increases variable Employees hired at any pay rate at or between the Probation and Base rate for the Pay Level shall receive a pay increase to the Base rate of the pay level upon successful completion of the probation period.
End of Probation Increases. Employees hired (or promoted) between the minimum – midpoint (market) of range are eligible for a 4% increase upon successful completion of their probation. The nurse will be eligible for performance pay on their next anniversary date and annually thereafter, until the nurse reaches the maximum point of the salary range. If a nurse's work performance is deemed to be unsatisfactory, at least ninety (90) days prior to a nurse's anniversary date the supervisor shall counsel the nurse. The supervisor and nurse will develop a workplan, which will contain objective standards that the nurse must meet over the next ninety (90) days in order to bring their performance to a satisfactory level. The workplan will specify regular meetings between the nurse and supervisor to monitor progress. If the nurse's performance becomes satisfactory within ninety (90) days, they will be granted the step increase. If the nurse's work performance remains unsatisfactory, the County may deny the nurse a step increase.
End of Probation Increases. Upon successful completion of the initial probationary period, the base salary of the newly hired employee shall be advanced five percent (5%) or to the maximum of the range, whichever is less.
