Captains A. In accordance with federal and state law, the Employer has determined that captain positions are overtime exempt and as such are not covered by federal or state overtime laws. Compensation is based on the premise that captains are expected to work as many hours as necessary to provide the public services for which they were hired. The salary paid to captains (including any supplemental compensation in accordance with Article 25.12) is full compensation for all hours worked. Normally captains will be expected to work a minimum of forty (40) hours in a workweek.
First Aid Attendants a) Designated First Aid Attendants shall receive their job rate of pay plus the Ticket Premium rate. All other employees holding valid First Aid Tickets shall receive a premium of five cents (5¢) per hour over and above their job rate. There shall be no stacking or pyramiding of premiums.
Contractor’s Contract Manager The Contractor’s Contract Manager, who is primarily responsible for the Contractor’s oversight of the Contract performance, will be identified in a separate writing to the Department upon Contract signing in the following format: Contractor’s Contract Manager Name Contractor’s Name Contractor’s Physical Address Contractor’s Telephone # Contractor’s Email Address If the Contractor changes its Contract Manager, the Contractor will notify the Department. First Aid Kits The Employer shall provide an area, equipped with a first-aid kit, for the use of Employees taken ill during working hours.
