Employment While on Parental Leave. (a) NTPS employment (other than keeping in touch days) Where the CEO agrees, an employee on unpaid parental leave may return to duty for any period with the agency, or another agency, to undertake duties for specified periods during the employee’s parental leave.

  • Parental Leave (a) An employee who becomes a parent, and who has been employed for at least thirteen (13) weeks immediately preceding the date of the birth of child or the date the child first came into care or custody of the employee, shall be entitled to parental leave.
