EMPLOYMENT OF TEACHERS. 4-1 Subsequent to the effective date of this Agreement, all personnel hired as classroom teachers for other than vocational or technical courses shall be required to have at least a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. Teachers employed in specialist classification areas, such as remedial reading, special education, library, speech therapy, psychology, etc., shall hold a bachelor's degree and the appropriate special license granted by the State of Nevada Department of Education.

EMPLOYMENT OF TEACHERS. 6.01 Only a teacher as defined in paragraphs 3.01 to 3.05 inclusive shall assume teaching responsibilities in Grades JK to 7 inclusive.
EMPLOYMENT OF TEACHERS and administrator shall be on written contract in a form as approved by the State Superintendent of Public Instruction, conditional upon a valid certificate being held by such professional personnel at the time of entering upon the duties of thereunder.
EMPLOYMENT OF TEACHERS. At least one (1) full-time classroom teacher or two (2) part- time classroom teachers each working more than twelve (12) hours per week must be employed by the School. The full-time classroom teachers and part-time classroom teachers teaching more than twelve (12) hours per week shall be certified or licensed in accordance with R.C. 3319.22 to 3319.31, or other applicable sections of the Ohio Revised Code. Upon request, the School shall forward teacher qualifications, including but not limited to, the grade level and content area being taught and the teacher’s licensure or certification granted by the Ohio Department of Education, to the Sponsor. The School may employ non-licensed persons to teach up to twelve (12) or forty (40)hours per week pursuant to R.C. 3319.301, to the extent permitted by ESSA or any subsequent legislation. There shall be no more than twenty-nine (29) students per classroom. If the School uses federal funds for the purpose of class size reduction by using Title I or Title II-A funds, the school wide students to full-time equivalent classroom teacher ratio shall be no more than 25 to 1. The School may also employ non-teaching employees. Prior to opening day, the School will provide the Sponsor with proof of Ohio licensure/certification for a sufficient number of teachers to support the stated teacher/student ratio, as well as the credentials and background checks for all staff of the School. In addition, persons with only long-term substitute licenses may be employed only if their license is in the grade level and content area they are teaching. The School Governing Authority shall provide an organizational chart and a list of roles and responsibilities of all School staff as Attachment 8.1.
