EMPLOYMENT OF STRS RETIREES. A. This Article governs the terms and conditions of employment of any superannuate or “other system retirant” (as those terms are statutorily defined for purposes of Ohio Revised Code 3307.35) whom the Board may regularly employ in a position that falls within the description of the bargaining unit appearing in Article I, Section A. of this Agreement. Except as otherwise specified below, any such employee will become a bargaining unit member upon employment and be subject to the provisions of this Agreement.

EMPLOYMENT OF STRS RETIREES. Members newly hired for the 2003-04 school year and thereafter will have this article govern the terms and conditions of employment of a superannuate or “other retirement system retirant” (as those terms are statutorily defined for purposes of ORC §3307.35) whom the Board may regularly employ in positions that fall within the description of the bargaining unit appearing in ARTICLE 4, Recognition, Section A of this Agreement. This Member shall be hereinafter referred to as the “Retiree.”
EMPLOYMENT OF STRS RETIREES. A. This Article governs the terms and conditions of employment of any superannuate or "other system retiree" (as those terms are statutorily defined for purposes of Ohio Revised Code Section 3307.35) whom the Board may regularly employ in a position that falls within the description of the bargaining unit appearing in Article I, Section A of the Negotiated Agreement ("rehiree"). Except as otherwise specified below, any such employee will become a bargaining unit member upon employment and be subject to the provisions of the Negotiated Agreement. At no time shall more than twelve percent (12%) of employees in the bargaining unit be employed by the Board as rehirees.

This Article governs the terms and conditions of employment of any superannuate or “other system restraint” (as those terms are statutorily defined for purposes of ORC Section 3307.35) whom the Board may regularly employ in a position that falls within the description of the bargaining unit appearing in Article I, Section A, Paragraph 1 of this Agreement. Except as otherwise specified below, any such employee will become a bargaining unit member upon employment and be subject to the provisions of this Agreement.
EMPLOYMENT OF STRS RETIREES. Ohio Law (R.C. 3307.35) allows the re-employment of retired employees. When these employees are rehired at Apollo, the following guidelines shall be used for internal or external candidates:

  • Disability Retirement If, as a result of your incapacity due to physical or mental illness, You shall have been absent from the full-time performance of your duties with the Company for 6 consecutive months, and within 30 days after written notice of termination is given You shall not have returned to the full-time performance of your duties, your employment may be terminated for "Disability." Termination of your employment by the Company or You due to your "Retirement" shall mean termination in accordance with the Company's retirement policy, including early retirement, generally applicable to its salaried employees or in accordance with any retirement arrangement established with your consent with respect to You.

  • Pre-Retirement Leave An employee scheduled to retire and to receive a superannuation allowance under the applicable Superannuation Act(s), or who has reached the mandatory retiring age, shall be entitled to:

  • Transition to Retirement 24.1 An Employee may advise their Employer in writing of their intention to retire within the next five years and participate in a retirement transition arrangement.

  • Public Employees Retirement System “PERS”) Members. For purposes of this Section 1, “employee” means an employee who is employed by the State on August 28, 2003 and who is eligible to receive benefits under ORS Chapter 238 for service with the State pursuant to Section 2 of Chapter 733, Oregon Laws 2003.
