  • Employment of Consultant CONSULTANT will perform as an independent contractor all services under this Contract to the prevailing professional standards consistent with the level of care and skill ordinarily exercised by members of its profession, both public and private, currently practicing in the same locality under similar conditions, including reasonable, informed judgments and prompt, timely action. If CONSULTANT is representing that it has special expertise in one or more areas to be utilized in this Contract, then CONSULTANT agrees to perform those special expertise services to the appropriate local, regional or national professional standards.

  • Your Children If your plan includes family coverage, each of your and your spouse’s children are eligible for coverage until the last day of the month in which they turn twenty-six (26). For purposes of determining eligibility for coverage, the term children means: • Natural children; • Step-children; • Legally adopted children; • Xxxxxx children who have been placed with you by an authorized placement agency or court order. A child for whom healthcare coverage is required through a Qualified Medical Child Support Order or other court or administrative order is also eligible for coverage. Your employer is responsible for determining if an order meets the criteria of a Qualified Medical Child Support Order. We may request more information from you to confirm your child’s eligibility. Disabled Dependents In accordance with R.I. General Law § 27-20-45, when your enrolled unmarried child reaches the maximum dependent age of twenty-six (26), he or she can continue to be considered an eligible dependent only if he or she is determined by us to be a disabled dependent. If you have an unmarried child of any age who is financially dependent upon you and medically determined to have a physical or mental impairment, which can be expected to result in death or which has lasted or can be expected to last for a continuous period of not less than twelve (12) months, that child is an eligible disabled dependent under this agreement. Please contact our Customer Service Department, to obtain the necessary form to verify the child’s disabled status. Periodically you may be asked to submit additional documents to confirm the child’s disabled status.

  • Employment of foreign nationals The Contractor acknowledges, agrees and undertakes that employment of foreign personnel by the Contractor and/or its Sub-contractors and their sub- contractors shall be subject to grant of requisite regulatory permits and approvals including employment/ residential visas and work permits, if any required, and the obligation to apply for and obtain the same shall always rest with the Contractor.   • Non-Employment of COUNTY Personnel 2.1.1 A-E agrees that it will neither negotiate, offer, or give employment to any full-time, regular employee of COUNTY in professional classifications of the same skills required for the performance of this CONTRACT who is involved in this Project in a participatory status during the life of this CONTRACT regardless of the assignments said employee may be given or the days or hours employee may work.

  • Employment Agencies Prior to enlisting the services of an employment agency, the Hospital will attempt to contact part-time staff who would normally perform the duties in question.

  • Employment of Personnel Manager shall use its diligent efforts to investigate, hire, pay, supervise and discharge the personnel necessary to be employed by it to properly maintain, operate and lease the Property, including without limitation a property manager or business manager at the Property. Such personnel shall in every instance be deemed agents or employees, as the case may be, of Manager. Owner has no right of supervision or direction of agents or employees of Manager whatsoever; however, Owner shall have the right to require the reassignment or termination of any employee. All Owner directives shall be communicated to Manager’s senior level management employees. Manager and all personnel of Manager who handle or who are responsible for handling Owner’s monies shall be bonded in favor of Owner. All reasonable salaries, wages and other compensation of personnel employed by Manager, including so-called fringe benefits, worker’s compensation, medical and health insurance and the like, shall be deemed to be reimbursable expenses of Manager. Manager may allow its employees who work at the Property and provide services to the Property after normal business hours, to reside at the Property for reduced rents (or rent fee as provided in the Operating Budget) in consideration of their benefit to Owner and the Property, provided such reduced rents are reflected in the Annual Business Plan.
