Common use of Employment of Apprentices Clause in Contracts

Employment of Apprentices. A. In addition to the requirement that Contractor provide a Skilled and Trained Workforce as provided for in Section 7.B., above, Contractor’s attention is directed to the provisions of Sections 1777.5, 1777.6, and 1777.7 of the California Labor Code concerning employment of apprentices by Contractor or any Subcontractor under him. In addition, Contractor shall obtain a certificate of apprenticeship before employing any apprentice pursuant to Sections 1777.5, 1777.6, and 1777.7 of the California Labor Code.
