EMPLOYMENT ASSISTANCE SERVICES. Employment Assistance Services will be used to help clients to obtain employment. Services may include needs determination, employment counseling, job search training and provision of labour market information. British Columbia will provide services to meet the needs of specific client groups and local communities through a service delivery network that is further described in Annex 3. Employment Assistance Services will be used to support the delivery of National Employment Service functions and will available to job seekers.

Over the 09-10 and 10-11 fiscal years, $31,790,000 in additional training funds were invested in the skill development of Nova Scotians. The 2011/2012 fiscal year marks the end of the Economic Action Plan and the additional funding connected to it. LMDA programming funding levels reflect this change for the upcoming fiscal year. Overview of LMA‌ The Canada-Nova Scotia Labour Market Agreement (LMA) is a six-year bilateral agreement signed between Canada and Nova Scotia in June 2008, through which the federal government provides funds for Nova Scotia’s labour market programs and services. The LMA is designed to complement labour market programs and services available to those Nova Scotians who are eligible for Employment Insurance benefits through the LMDA. Eligibility for LMA-funded programs and services is limited to: • Unemployed Nova Scotians who are not eligible to receive Employment Insurance benefits; and • Employed Nova Scotians who do not have a high school diploma or recognized certification or who have low levels of literacy and essential skills. Objectives of the Canada-Nova Scotia LMA • Increase the participation of Canadians and immigrants in the workforce to address current and future labour market requirements; • Enhance the quality of skills development; • Facilitate workforce mobility and provide the information necessary to enable informed labour market choices.   • Client Assistance You acknowledge that the implementation of the Tyler Software is a cooperative process requiring the time and resources of your personnel. You agree to use all reasonable efforts to cooperate with and assist us as may be reasonably required to meet the agreed upon project deadlines and other milestones for implementation. This cooperation includes at least working with us to schedule the implementation-related services outlined in this Agreement. We will not be liable for failure to meet any deadlines and milestones when such failure is due to Force Majeure or to the failure by your personnel to provide such cooperation and assistance (either through action or omission).

  • Transition Assistance If this Contract is not renewed at the end of this term, if the Contract is otherwise terminated before project completion, or if particular work on a project is terminated for any reason, Contractor shall provide transition assistance for a reasonable, mutually agreed period of time after the expiration or termination of this Contract or particular work under this Contract. The purpose of this assistance is to allow for the expired or terminated portion of the services to continue without interruption or adverse effect, and to facilitate the orderly transfer of such services to State or its designees. The parties agree that such transition assistance is governed by the terms and conditions of this Contract, except for those terms or conditions that do not reasonably apply to such transition assistance. State shall pay Contractor for any resources utilized in performing such transition assistance at the most current Contract rates. If State terminates a project or this Contract for cause, then State may offset the cost of paying Contractor for the additional resources Contractor utilized in providing transition assistance with any damages State may have sustained as a result of Contractor’s breach.

  • Directory Assistance Service Updates 8.3.3.1 BellSouth shall update end user listings changes daily. These changes include:

  • Routing for Operator Services and Directory Assistance Traffic For a Verizon Telecommunications Service dial tone line purchased by MLTC for resale pursuant to the Resale Attachment, upon request by MLTC, Verizon will establish an arrangement that will permit MLTC to route the MLTC Customer’s calls for operator and directory assistance services to a provider of operator and directory assistance services selected by MLTC. Verizon will provide this routing arrangement in accordance with, but only to the extent required by, Applicable Law. Verizon will provide this routing arrangement pursuant to an appropriate written request submitted by MLTC and a mutually agreed-upon schedule. This routing arrangement will be implemented at MLTC's expense, with charges determined on an individual case basis. In addition to charges for initially establishing the routing arrangement, MLTC will be responsible for ongoing monthly and/or usage charges for the routing arrangement. MLTC shall arrange, at its own expense, the trunking and other facilities required to transport traffic to MLTC’s selected provider of operator and directory assistance services.

  • Education Assistance The lay-off may be eligible to apply for this option if:

  • AIN Selective Carrier Routing for Operator Services, Directory Assistance and Repair Centers 4.3.1 BellSouth will provide AIN Selective Carrier Routing at the request of <<customer_name>>. AIN Selective Carrier Routing will provide <<customer_name>> with the capability of routing operator calls, 0+ and 0- and 0+ NPA (LNPA) 555-1212 directory assistance, 1+411 directory assistance and 611 repair center calls to pre-selected destinations.

  • Employee Assistance Plan The Board shall make available to eligible employees and their eligible family members, at no cost, an Employee Assistance Plan (EAP). Employee participation in and/or referral to the EAP shall be voluntary and confidential, except as to any disclosures required by applicable state law. All personal treatment records generated as a result of an eligible individual’s utilization of the EAP shall be maintained by the service provider and shall not be shared with the Board unless otherwise authorized by the eligible employee or the covered dependent, or by operation of applicable law. The contact person for the EAP services to be made available under this Agreement shall not be employed by the Board of Education.

  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Section 1. The Employer agrees to provide to the Union the statistical and program evaluation information provided to management concerning Employee Assistance Program(s).
