Employer’s design. The Employer shall provide the Contractor with all information required to complete network designs e.g. required performance specifications, underlying transmission medium performance, hop distances, etc. The Employer shall verify and accept the network designs prior to implementation thereof. However, such inspection and acceptance of the designs shall not relieve the Contractor of their responsibility to meet all the network performance requirements, and it shall not prevent subsequent rejection of the design if it is found to perform below specification during commissioning and testing. For each task order and prior to installation, the Employer shall compile a site survey report providing details of the availability of site specific requirements for successful installations. However, the Employer may request the Contractor to perform this work. After the Contractor site visits and the site visit report has been issued to the Employer, the Employer shall provide any missing infrastructure and facilities not supplied with the equipment (e.g. DC supply) that are necessary for the completion of the site works as indicated in the Contractor’s site survey report. The Employer shall organise access to all sites for the Contractor as per the agreed programme.
Employer’s design. The Employer will supply the Contractor with a final design document compiled by the Project Engineer ,detailing the scope of work to be executed on the project as well as Project Drawings.
Employer’s design. Either Describe what the Employer has designed for the works when the Contractor is mainly doing construction only. Could even state who has done or is doing the design for the Employer as this will give the Contractor an idea of the standard he may expect. Or Provide the Employer‟s operating philosophy / user requirement specification (URS) / performance specification to which the Contractor is to comply when he is required to design the works.

Employer’s design. The Employer will not be performing the design as this is included as part of the Contractor’s scope for works. The Contractor supplies a design package which satisfies all the requirements of the specification (Analyses, drawings, installation specification, testing and commissioning specification, in service periodic testing specification, etc.). Employer’s design. The particulate emission control plants at Matla Power Station units 1 and 4 are of the Lurgi design. Unit 2, 3, 5 and 6 have been refurbished to a Xxxxx design and make use of 16 conventional TR sets per unit, 8 on each of the two casings per unit. The TR sets are controlled by Castlet MCS2 field controllers. The control and monitoring of the 16 precipitator fields on a unit is done via the Precipitator Plant Management System running on a CLEAR SCADA system. Each unit has a PPMS controller located in the precipitator substation with which the MCS2 controllers interface. The overall monitoring of the complete precipitator plant on the 6 Matla units is possible from a remote Client located in the Precipitator System Engineer’s office and on the unit operator desk.
Employer’s design. All pressure boundary equipment to be supplied with BS EN 10204 (2004) 3.1 certification Upstream and downstream of the valve pressure test point shall be installed on the first unit. This will be used to optimise the valve and do fault finding. Painting of the valve and pipework will be done according to Eskom specification ESKSCAAC6 The Contractor will be responsible for the doing NDT’s during the installation. The NDT subcontractor shall be Eskom approved and will adhere to Eskom standards
Employer’s design. The Employer shall make available the following approved designs to the Contractor for the execution of the works.
Employer’s design. The permanent works included in this contract has been designed by the Employer. The detail of the works is indicated on the drawings and in the specifications. The Tenderer may submit alternative offers for designs prepared by himself subject to the conditions specified in the Contract Data.
