Employer to Acquaint New Employees. (a) During orientation, the Employer will provide each new Employee with a link to an electronic package prepared by the Union along with a link to a copy of the collective agreement. The Employer will update the link as required by the Union.

The University shall provide new employees with a copy of the collective agreement, with the appointment letter a copy of which shall be forwarded to the support staff bargaining unit Chairperson. New employees shall be advised of the name and location of their xxxxxxx.

A Union representative will be permitted one-half (1/2) hour following the Employer’s orientation to meet with new employees for the purpose of familiarizing such employees with the Collective Agreement.

The Chief Stewards shall be notified of the start dates of all new employees.

Upon employee request, the Employer will also supply a hard copy of the Agreement.
Employer to Acquaint New Employees. The Employer shall acquaint all new employees of the fact that a Collective Agreement is in effect and introduce all new employees to the branch xxxxxxx, so that the branch xxxxxxx may present a copy of the Collective Agreement to the new employee. This introduction shall take place during the first five (5) days of employment of all new employees.
Employer to Acquaint New Employees. 7.01 The Employer shall acquaint potential employees in the interview process with the fact that a Union Agreement is in effect, and with the conditions of employment set out in the Articles 5 and 6 dealing with the Union Membership and Dues Check Off. The Employer shall supply to all newly-hired employees a hard copy of this agreement and all pensions and benefit plans and Employer policies within ten days of being hired.
