Employees Who Regularly Work Weekends. Notwithstanding other provisions of this article, those employees who are regularly scheduled to work on weekends shall work their regularly scheduled shift and their regular, year-round work schedules shall take the number of holidays referenced in this article into account in determining the total number of days off per year. Such employees shall be paid at the rate of one and one-half (1 ½) times their regular rates of pay if required to work on any actual holiday. Holidays falling on weekends shall not be observed on Fridays and/or Mondays by such employees.

Employees Who Regularly Work Weekends. Notwithstanding other provisions of this article, those employees who are regularly scheduled to work on weekends shall work their regularly scheduled shift and their regular, year round work schedules shall take the number of holidays referenced in Section 12.03 of this Agreement into account in determining the total number of days off per year. Such employees shall be paid at the rate of one and one-half (1½) times their regular rates of pay if required to work on any actual holiday. Holidays falling on weekends shall not be observed on Fridays and/or Mondays by such employees. Further, Water Works employees shall be paid at a rate of two (2) times their regular rate of pay when called in or held over to work on said Holidays.

  • Compensation for Holidays Worked a. With the exception of the provisions in Section C.2.b., below, an employee required to work on a holiday listed above shall be paid at the employee's regular straight-time rate of pay for the hours actually worked. In addition, an eligible employee shall receive either compensatory time off or holiday pay at the option of the University at the regular straight-time rate, including any shift differential.

  • Holidays Worked When an employee works on a calendar holiday, he/she shall receive payment of the holiday at the regular rate and in addition, at the discretion of the Employer, (1) be paid at the rate of time and one half for hours actually worked on the holiday or (2) be given compensatory time off equal to one and one half the number of hours actually worked.

  • Part-time Employees Eligible for Holidays 367. Part-time employees who regularly work a minimum of twenty (20) hours in a bi-weekly pay period shall be entitled to holiday pay on a proportionate basis. 368. Regular full-time employees are entitled to 8/80 or 1/10 time off when a holiday falls in a bi-weekly pay period, therefore, part-time employees, as defined in the immediately preceding paragraph, shall receive a holiday based upon the ratio of 1/10 of the total hours regularly worked in a bi-weekly pay period. Holiday time off shall be determined by calculating 1/10 of the hours worked by the part-time employee in the bi-weekly pay period immediately preceding the pay period in which the holiday falls. The computation of holiday time off shall be rounded to the nearest hour.

  • Pay for Holidays Worked (a) When an employee is required to work on a designated holiday, the employee shall be paid compensation, or given compensatory time off, for such work at the rate of time and one-half the employee’s regular rate of pay, in addition to regular pay received for all hours worked for the holiday.

  • Contractor Employee Conduct The Contractor’s employees shall adhere to the standards of conduct prescribed in the Customer’s personnel policy and procedure guidelines, particularly rules of conduct, security procedures, and any other applicable rules, regulations, policies and procedures of the Customer. The Contractor shall ensure that the Contractor’s employees wear attire suitable for the position, either a standard uniform or business casual dress.

  • Overtime-Eligible Employees Employees who are covered by the overtime provisions of state and federal law.

  • Paid Holidays – Long Weekends (a) When an employee is scheduled to work a weekend where a paid holiday falls on the Monday or the Friday, the Employer shall endeavour to also schedule the employee to work the paid holiday.

  • PAY, HOURS AND BENEFITS III.A. WAGES

  • Normal Workday The normal workday shall consist of eight (8) consecutive hours of work within a twenty-four (24) hour period.

  • Holiday Worked In addition to Subsection A above, employees will be compensated for the hours actually worked on a holiday at the overtime rate, in accordance with Article 17, Overtime.
