Employees Tested. All employees of the Trenton Police Department are subject to on-duty drug and or alcohol testing by urine sample conducted under any of the following conditions:

Employees Tested. A. Drug/alcohol testing may be conducted on employees post-incident or upon reasonable suspicion. (Random testing may take place when the inclusion of these bargaining unit members would make sixty percent (60%) or more of the City employees subject to random testing.) Reasonable suspicion that an employee used or is using a controlled substance or alcohol in an unlawful or abusive manner may be based upon, but not limited to:
Employees Tested. Drug/alcohol testing may be conducted on employees at random, post-incident or reasonable suspicion. For random testing, the City shall contract with a laboratory meeting the requirements of Section 17.2. Random tests will be conducted no more than four times per calendar year. A bargaining unit employee may of his own volition, even if not ordered to do so, undergo a drug and/or alcohol screening test if he is involved in an on-duty incident or accident involving bodily injury, extensive property damage or death. Testing done under these circumstances will be treated in the same manner as if the employee had been ordered to undergo screening.

  • Employees - Basic Eligibility Employees may participate in the Group Insurance Program if they are scheduled to work at least 1044 hours in any twelve consecutive months, except for:

  • Part-time Employees Eligible for Holidays 331. Part-time employees who regularly work a minimum of twenty (20) hours in a bi- weekly pay period shall be entitled to holiday pay on a proportionate basis. 332. Regular full-time employees are entitled to 8/80 or 1/10 time off when a holiday falls in a bi-weekly pay period, therefore, part-time employees, as defined in the immediately preceding paragraph, shall receive a holiday based upon the ratio of 1/10 of the total hours regularly worked in a bi-weekly pay period. Holiday time off shall be determined by calculating 1/10 of the hours worked by the part-time employee in the bi-weekly pay period immediately preceding the pay period in which the holiday falls. The computation of holiday time off shall be rounded to the nearest hour.

  • Contractor Employee Conduct The Contractor’s employees shall adhere to the standards of conduct prescribed in the Customer’s personnel policy and procedure guidelines, particularly rules of conduct, security procedures, and any other applicable rules, regulations, policies and procedures of the Customer. The Contractor shall ensure that the Contractor’s employees wear attire suitable for the position, either a standard uniform or business casual dress.

  • Overtime-Eligible Employees Unpaid Meal Periods The Employer and the Union agree to unpaid meal periods that vary from and supersede the unpaid meal period requirements required by WAC 000-000-000. Unpaid meal periods for employees working more than five (5) consecutive hours, if entitled, will be a minimum of thirty (30) minutes and will be scheduled as close to the middle of the work shift as possible, taking into account the Employer’s work requirements and the employee’s wishes. Employees working three (3) or more hours longer than a normal workday will be allowed an additional thirty (30) minute unpaid meal period. When an employee’s unpaid meal period is interrupted by work duties, the employee will be allowed to resume their unpaid meal period following the interruption, if possible, to complete the unpaid meal period. In the event an employee is unable to complete the unpaid meal period due to operational necessity, the employee will be entitled to compensation, which will be computed based on the actual number of minutes worked within the unpaid meal period. Meal periods may not be used for late arrival or early departure from work and meal and rest periods will not be combined.

  • Special Maternity Allowance for Totally Disabled Employees (a) An employee who:

  • Employees Not Eligible for Holiday Compensation 330. Persons employed for holiday work only, or persons employed on a part-time work schedule which is less than twenty (20) hours in a bi-weekly pay period, or persons employed on an intermittent part-time work schedule (not regularly scheduled), or persons employed on as-needed, seasonal or project basis for less than six (6) months continuous service, or persons on leave without pay status both immediately preceding and immediately following the legal holiday shall not receive holiday pay.

  • Overtime-Eligible Employees Rest Periods The Employer and the Union agree to rest periods that vary from and supersede the rest periods required by WAC 000-000-000. Employees will be allowed rest periods of fifteen
