Employee Safeguards. Confidentiality of files under this Section shall be maintained. The City will receive from the medical evaluation only a report that the employee was fit or unfit for duty. Details of the medical examination shall be submitted to the employee, not the City, except that if the employee is determined unfit for duty, the City shall be supplied with that medical information which the physician believes is appropriate in order to evaluate the employee’s medical suitability for continued work and/or rehabilitation. If the City receives an unfit for duty medical report, the City will, consistent with the medical evaluation, take into account such factors as medical evaluation from the employee’s own physician, referral to a third independent physician, education, training, re- evaluation, medical leave, referral to light duty and/or employee rehabilitation. The City will take every medical step reasonably appropriate under the circumstances to enable an employee to return to duty and, consequently, a decision to terminate an employee’s employment for unfitness for duty shall only be made as a last resort.

Employee Safeguards. In the event of construction or remodeling within the occupied facility, the Employer, by working with the local GSA office to the extent it is able, will use its best efforts to ensure that proper safeguards are maintained to prevent injury to employees. If the Employer has control over, and advance knowledge, of any use of chemicals or pesticides at the facility, the Union will be notified in advance of the nature and the purpose of their use.

  • Employee Safety A. Any employee who is injured or who is involved in an accident during the course of his/her employment, no matter how slight the injury, shall file an accident report with the designated supervisor, as soon as possible after the injury and prior to the conclusion of the employee's work day, whenever possible. While the initial report may be given orally, it must be followed up within 48 hours with a written report on the First Report of Injury form which shall be submitted to the appropriate administrator/supervisor who shall then submit it to the appropriate Human Resources Department.

  • Information Safeguards Business Associate will develop, document, implement, maintain and use appropriate administrative, technical and physical safeguards to preserve the integrity and confidentiality of and to prevent non-permitted use or disclosure of PHI created for or received from Recipient or its Subsidiaries. These safeguards must be appropriate to the size and complexity of Business Associate’s operations and the nature and scope of its activities.   • Contractor and Employee Security Precautions A. The security aspects of working at the Correctional Facility are critical. The following security precautions are part of the site conditions and are a part of this Contract. All persons coming on the site in any way connected with this Work shall be made aware of them, and it is the (General) Contractor’s responsibility to check and enforce them.
