Employee Involvement Committees. The parties agree to use the Employee Involvement Committee (“EIC”) process to address workplace issues. The Joint Labor-Management CommitteeJLMC shall charter EICs. Employee Involvement Committees shall have the authority to make recommendations to the Joint Labor- Management CommitteeJLMC on the respective workplace issues. EICs that are chartered for the purpose of addressing issues relating to an alternative work schedule shall include a specific recommendation regarding the manner in which training days will be scheduled to avoid creating an increase in overtime costs for training those employees working the alternative shift.

Employee Involvement Committees. Section 18.2 The Company and the Union will encourage local managers and union representatives to form committees to discuss local issues of mutual interest and concern. All employee involvement will be voluntary. Committee members will be responsible for establishing an atmosphere of mutual respect to support the development of new ideas and experimentation. Local Employee Involvement Committees will be encouraged to discuss innovative approaches to enhance sales results, product quality, and customer service. They may also discuss issues such as work scheduling, market assignment, flextime, safety, and other employee concerns. Local managers and union representatives will jointly develop agendas and meeting schedules. Any input from employee involvement committees which would propose a modification of existing wages, hours, or terms and conditions of employment will be referred to the bargaining agents. Employee Involvement Committees. The unit administrator at each school shall attempt to meet monthly for a minimum of at least six (6) meetings a year with at least two (2) employees who are elected from among the staff as a whole. The election shall be completed by September 15 of each year. The purpose of the meeting shall be to discuss items of mutual concern. The unit administrator and the employee representatives at each school shall determine their own meeting days and times and shall inform all staff members of both.

  • LABOR/MANAGEMENT COMMITTEES Section 1. Labor/Management Committees The parties recognize that the holding of periodic meetings for the exchange of views and information contributes to the effectiveness of the labor/management relationship. Therefore, the parties shall establish Labor/Management Committees (LMC), in accordance with the provisions in this Article, for the purpose of addressing matters of concern in the areas of personnel policies, practices, conditions of employment, and other matters affecting employees. The Union Representative shall provide the names of up to three (3) elected Employees and the Employer shall provide the names of up to three (3) appointed representatives to sit on the EMAC.

  • Joint Labor/Management Committees Purpose and Membership. Joint Labor/Management Committees are established to provide a forum for communications and problem-solving between the two parties and to deal with matters of a general personnel Union/Employer concern, as well as professional practices within the hospital related to patient care and professional issues. The Committees will work toward the improvement of patient care and recommend ways and means to improve patient care; and will address problems and concerns related to staffing and workloads. The Committees’ function will be limited to an advisory capacity and shall not include any decision making or collective bargaining authority. Committee memberships:

  • JOINT LABOUR MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE 18.01 A Joint Labour Management Committee shall be established to attend to those matters which are of mutual interest. To ensure its effectiveness the Committee shall be separate and apart from the grievance procedure.

  • Professional Development Committee There shall be a Professional Development Committee composed of at least two (2) representatives of the Association and an equal number of representatives from the Hospital. Each party may have alternates to replace a member from time to time.

  • Local Professional Development Committee 1. The Local Professional Development Committee (LPDC) shall be established to oversee and review professional development plans pursuant to ORC 3319.22.

  • Advisory Committees The Board may appoint Advisory Committees to review design review applications, or provide input on other issues of concern to the Board or the Commission. These Advisory Committees include, but are not necessarily limited to, the following:

  • JOINT ADVISORY COMMITTEE 5.01 A Joint Advisory Committee shall operate during the term of this agreement consisting of one (1) employee representative from each location and up to an equal number of employer representatives who shall meet at least once every six (6) months to discuss working conditions, economy of operation, quality and quantity of service, safety and health, workplace stress, violence and abuse prevention, and other matters to promote an ongoing harmonious relationship between the Employer and its employees. The Joint Advisory Committee shall meet at the request of either party. The full-time Union Representative may attend said meetings. All time spent attending Joint Advisory Committee meetings by employees shall be considered time worked but time spent at “pre-meetings” will not be considered time worked.
