Employee Basic Life Insurance. Through the basic life insurance benefits, an Employee automatically receives coverage equivalent to:  One times the Employee’s base salary The coverage is one hundred percent (100%) paid for by the Employer. The maximum basic life insurance benefit is two hundred and fifty thousand dollars ($250,000).
