Employee Attendance at Staff Meetings. (a) Where an employee is directed by the Employer to attend a staff meeting during their regular working hours, the employee shall be compensated at their regular hourly rate for the time spent in such attendance.

Employee Attendance at Staff Meetings. (a) Where an employee is directed by the Employer to attend a staff meeting during the employee's regular working hours, the employee shall be compensated at their regular hourly rate for the time spent in such attendance.
Employee Attendance at Staff Meetings. When any employee is directed by the Employer to attend a mandatory staff meeting in conjunction with a shift, the employee shall be compensated at the regular hourly rate for the time spent in such attendance. If the meeting is held on a non-scheduled work day, the minimum pay for such meeting shall be two (2) hours.

An employee who is directed to attend a staff meeting is not entitled to claim overtime pay for such at- tendance, unless the time spent in the meeting results in the employee more than eight (8) hours in a day, or more than forty (48) hours in a week. Where the attendance of an employee at a staff meeting is voluntary, in response to an invitation and not a direction of the Employer, the Em is not obligat- ed to compensate the employee for time spent in such attendance.   • Staff Meetings Staff meetings, whether in the store or off the premises, shall be considered as time worked and paid for accordingly, except meal meetings at which the attendance is voluntary. Such meal meetings in excess of three (3) during each Contract year shall be considered as time worked and paid for accordingly.

  • Professional Meetings Employees should be encouraged to and may, with the approval of the supervisor, attend professional meetings, conferences, and activities. Subject to the availability of funds, the employee's expenses in connection with such meetings, conferences, or activities shall be reimbursed in accordance with the applicable provisions of State law and university rules.

  • Faculty Meetings Principals shall have the authority to schedule necessary faculty meetings; however, such meetings shall be as brief and well planned as possible. Such meetings shall be used for purposes that cannot be accomplished effectively through other means. Faculty meetings shall be scheduled in a manner that impacts teacher planning time to the least degree possible. If more than one faculty meeting is held in a month, the purpose of the meeting shall be announced to the faculty in advance.

  • Transfer to Directors and Senior Officers (1) You may transfer escrow securities within escrow to existing or, upon their appointment, incoming directors or senior officers of the Issuer or any of its material operating subsidiaries, if the Issuer’s board of directors has approved the transfer.

  • Board Meetings The Superintendent shall attend, and shall be permitted to attend, all meetings of the Board, both public and closed, with the exception of those closed meetings devoted to the consideration of any action or lack of action on the Superintendent's Contract, or the Superintendent's evaluation, or for purposes of resolving conflicts between individual Board members, or when the Board is acting in its capacity as a tribunal. In the event of illness or Board-approved absence, the Superintendent's designee shall attend such meetings.
