Employability Skills. I understand NO food or drink is allowed in the classrooms per FCTC policy. ONLY bottled water is permissible. I understand and agree that employability skills will be evaluated during each course for both clinical and classroom. I understand and agree that any breach in my employability skills will cause a reduction in my overall grade for each course. Any breach in employability skills will result in a 5-point deduction per breach. Please be aware deductions will affect the Affect/Employability Skills grade percentage which will affect the overall course grade.
Employability Skills. The programme of learning opportunities shall also address how relevant prisoners develop their ‘employability skills’ and the skills necessary to apply for and obtain employment, undertake volunteering, or undertake further training following liberation (e.g. completing an application form, writing a good business letter, C.V preparation, interview skills etc.). The Service Provider will be expected to liaise with other agencies (such as DWP) and any local Purchaser initiatives specifically dealing with this area, and to tailor any contextualised learning relating to the differing needs of the prisoner groups especially, Top-End, or those in the Open Estate (HMP Castle Huntly) who are at a stage of their sentence where they have been assessed as suitable for community access or are progressing towards a liberation date.
Employability Skills. Transport Arrangements No transportation required. As an internet/virtual school, all provision is web- based. Students only need a computer and a broadband connection. Headsets also desired for maximum benefit. Method of Feedback to home and school All attendance, assignment grades and weekly teacher reports are available to both students and schools. Weekly reports consist of soft skills measurements (settling to work, motivation, confidence, punctuality) and progress (NC Levels/GSCE grades). Teachers comment weekly on work undertaken and student input. Termly and half-termly reports include learning goals and actions required to achieve those goals.
