Emergency Response Team. Employees in the classification of Environmental Specialist IV who serve on the Environmental Health Emergency Response Team shall receive compensation on an hour for hour basis (straight time), for time spent on call-outs outside of their regular work hours. Employees shall be credited with a minimum of three (3) hours of work for all call-outs. (The terms of this paragraph shall not set a precedent to change the overtime eligibility status or FLSA eligibility status of employees in these classifications in any way whatsoever.)

Emergency Response Team. 9:01 A Correctional Officer who has been designated by the employing authority or authorized supervisor to be available on standby during off duty hours, and who is a member of an emergency response team, shall be entitled, to payment of eleven dollars and fifty cents ($11.50) for standby on a regular working day and nineteen dollars ($19.00) for standby on a day of rest or paid holiday.
Emergency Response Team. Members of the Emergency Response Teams who are trained and certified in accordance with OSHA standards will receive $150 per quarter ($600 per year). Guidelines associated with this payment will continue to be developed locally at each facility by the COMPANY and the UNION.

Emergency Response Team. The Company and the Union recognize the importance of an effective and fully staffed Emergency Response Team (ERT). The Company will determine the necessary staffing levels and will first seek volunteers to staff the ERT prior to requiring mandatory participation. Employees who volunteer to be members of the ERT will be required to remain on the ERT for a minimum of 3 years. In the event staffing cannot be attained by voluntary means and mandatory participation is required, the Company will require the least senior employee(s), as a condition of employment, to participate as members of the ERT. Regular training will be required of ERT members and will be provided by the Company. In the event a volunteer develops health issues that will interfere with his/her continued ERT service, he/she may, with adequate documentation, be relieved of his/her duty to serve. If an employee who is a member of the ERT no longer wishes to be a volunteer, and his/her leaving causes staffing to fall below the minimum level, the employee will be required to remain on the ERT until a replacement is trained. The number of members needed to effectively and fully staff the ERT will be determined by the members of the Labour Management Committee.
