Emergency Premium Rate. In emergency cases when employees are required to work on the seventh (7th) day worked in a regular calendar week or on the sixth (6th) day worked in a holiday week exclu­ sive of the holiday they shall be paid at the rate of double their regular straight time rate of pay. It is further agreed that no employee shall be required or permitted to work in excess of eight (8) hours on any overtime or premium day.

  • Premium Rates No recapture will be permitted if the Ceding Company has either obtained or increased stop loss reinsurance coverage as justification for the increase in retention limits.

  • Frequency Protection Should Company install any type of radio transceiver or other wireless communications equipment, Company will provide frequency protection within the aviation air/ground VHF frequency band and the UHF frequency band in accordance with restrictions promulgated by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for the vicinity of FAA Transmitter or Receiver facilities. Frequency protection will also be provided for all other frequency bands operating in the vicinity of Company’s equipment. Should interference occur as a result of Company’s installation, Authority reserves the right to shut down Company’s installation until appropriate remedies to the interference are made by Company. Such remedies may include relocation to another site. The cost of all such efforts to remedy the interference will be solely at Company’s expense.

  • Emergency Preparedness All residents are advised to have an emergency plan. It is recommended that each resident maintain an emergency supply kit consisting of a first aid kit, three-day supply of water, non-perishable food, battery operated radio and flashlight, extra batteries, portable electronic device charger, gloves, and medications.

  • Emergency Procedure An employee may be immediately placed on an off-duty status (without pay) by the Employer, but remain on the rolls where the allegation involves intoxication (use of drugs or alcohol), pilferage, or failure to observe safety rules and regulations, or in cases where retaining the employee on duty may result in damage to U.S. Postal Service property, loss of mail or funds, or where the employee may be injurious to self or others. The employee shall remain on the rolls (non-pay status) until disposition of the case has been had. If it is proposed to suspend such an employee for more than fourteen (14) days or discharge the employee, the emergency action taken under this Section may be made the subject of a separate grievance.

  • Sunday Premium All hours worked by an Employee on Sunday, shall be paid for on the basis of one and one-half (1½) times the Employee’s Regular Rate of Pay. For the purpose of this Section, Sunday shall be deemed to be the twenty-four (24) hours beginning with the shift change hour nearest to 12:01 a.m.

  • Emergency Precautions Forest Service may require the necessary shutting down of equipment on portions of Purchaser’s Operations, as specified by the emergency fire precautions schedule of C7.22. Equipment shall be paid for at fire fighting equipment rates common in the area or at prior agreed rates and, if Purchaser re- quests, shall be operated only by personnel approved by Purchaser. Personnel so hired shall be subject to direc- tion and control by Forest Service and shall be paid by Forest Service at fire fighting rates common in the area or at prior agreed rates.

  • Annual Leave Loading (a) In addition to their ordinary pay, an employee, other than a shiftworker, will be paid an annual leave loading of 17.5% of their ordinary pay on a maximum of 152 hours/four weeks annual leave per annum.

  • Training Premium Qualified Operators selected by the Employer to train new Operators shall be paid a training premium of 40¢ per hour while engaged in training work.

  • Safety Boot Allowance ‌ Effective January 1, 2022, except for temporary and probationary employees, the Employer agrees to pay one hundred and eighty-five dollars ($185.00) in January of each year towards the cost of safety boots for each full time employee requiring them and one hundred ($100.00) dollars for each part time employee requiring them under the Occupational Health and Safety Act and/or by the Employer, provided the Employee is not eligible for safety footwear through the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board.
