Emergency Measures. Additional measures and/or other special requirements necessary during periods of critical fire-weather conditions shall be included in the fire prevention and presuppression plan.
Emergency Measures. Parties shall, in close cooperation with each other whenever possible and relevant, develop and implement emergency measures for populations listed in Table 1, when exceptionally unfavourable or endangering conditions occur anywhere in the Agreement Area.

In case of serious risk to human, animal or plant life or health, the importing Party may take, without previous notification, measures necessary for the protection of human, animal or plant life or health. For consignments in transit between the Parties, the importing Party shall consider the most suitable and proportional solution in order to avoid unnecessary disruptions to trade.

If, as a result of the implementation of this Agreement, import of a particular product eligible under the CEPT Scheme is increasing in such a manner as to cause or threaten to cause serious injury to sectors producing like or directly competitive products in the importing Member States, the importing Member States may, to the extent and for such time as may be necessary to prevent or to remedy such injury, suspend preferences provisionally and without discrimination, subject to Article 6 (3) of this Agreement. Such suspension of preferences shall be consistent with the GATT.
Emergency Measures. 1. Where a Party adopts emergency measures necessary to protect human, animal or plant life or health, such Party shall as soon as possible notify such measures to the other Party. The Party that adopted the emergency measures shall take into consideration relevant information provided by the other Party.
Emergency Measures. A Party may, on serious human, animal or plant life or health grounds, take provisional measures necessary for the protection of human, animal or plant life or health. These measures shall be notified within 24 hours to the other Party and, on request, consultations regarding the situation shall be held within 14 days unless otherwise agreed between the Parties. The Parties shall take due account of any information provided through such consultations.

If a Party adopts an emergency measure that is necessary for the protection of human, animal or plant life or health and that may have an effect on trade, that Party shall immediately notify the relevant exporting Parties in writing through the contact point or contact points designated under Article 5.15 (Contact Points and Competent Authorities) or already established communication channels of the Parties.
