If only the alternate work site is affected, the employee will notify the supervisor. The supervisor may assign the employee different work or grant leave as appropriate. Subject to supervisory approval, an employee on an approved telework agreement may perform assigned duties at home or another approved worksite when severe weather conditions disrupt commuting and compromise employee safety.
