Emergency Call Outs. This equalization of overtime does not apply to emergency call outs requesting that overtime be worked. A qualified employee who is willing to accept emergency overtime assignment immediately upon notification may ask to be listed as available. The District will not list an employee for emergency call out if the employee has refused overtime work several times, or is not qualified. The District, in assigning emergency call out, will do so as equitably as circumstances permit.
Emergency Call Outs. Emergency call out assignments will be made by the Supervisor dependent on the skills required, on a rotational basis. The District agrees to maintain a log of emergency call-outs, which will be open for review at any time.
Emergency Call Outs. 1) If the duration of the call out is greater than one (1) hour (excluding travel time to and from the building) after working hours during the regular workweek and weekends, compensation will be at a four- hour minimum at time and a half per hour.
Emergency Call Outs. 5.5 Emergency Call Outs require payment on the completion of works regardless of whether they are Small Scale Projects, Medium Scale Projects or Large Scale Projects.
Emergency Call Outs. When there is an emergency call out, the employee on standby duty shall contact the supervisor for additional assistance if, in the opinion of the employee on standby duty, the need is warranted for additional help, either for the performance of the task or for the safety of the employee.
Emergency Call Outs. SECTION 1. An "emergency call-out" (“call-out” hereinafter) is a request to report to work on a non-scheduled day or during non- scheduled hours to work an unspecified period of time provided the employee is requested to report to work as soon as possible after receiving the request. A request that an employee work a changed or additional normal tour (or half tour), or work in excess of a normal tour (or half tour), shall not be treated as an "emergency call-out." Note: Administration of Call-Outs (Field Technician Titles Only*) Call-outs for technician work are normally made only when the Company’s public and customer service obligations, requirements, and expectations dictate that work be performed outside of normal scheduled working hours or when qualified scheduled employees are unavailable to perform the work in question. The process for administering call-outs and Ready to Serve for these technicians is set forth in the Letter of Understanding entitled “Call-out and Ready to Serve Administration for Technicians”. *This does not apply to the call-out of Outside Plant Technicians. Existing call-out procedures for OPTs and all other employees will be continued and are not affected by the provisions of the “Call-out and Ready to Serve Administration for Technicians” Letter of Understanding. However, for Outside Plant Technicians, see the “Use of Outside Plant Technicians on Call-Outs” Letter of Understanding.
Emergency Call Outs. 6.02.02.01 An employee called out for work, outside their regular hours of work but not immediately preceding them, shall receive not less than 2 hours at twice their regular rate of pay. Call-outs occurring within 2 hours of each other shall be considered as one call for the purpose of computing minimum pay for an employee called out.
Emergency Call Outs. Required personnel shall be called out using the volunteer list for the district requiring such personnel. The volunteer list shall be a rotating list based upon length of service and position title required. Meal Reimbursement:
