Eligibility for Continuing Contracts. 1. A teacher who is eligible for continuing contract consideration must notify the Superintendent in writing on or before September 15th of the school year in which the teacher becomes eligible in order to be considered for issuance of a continuing contract in April of that school year. A teacher who does not notify the Superintendent on or before September 30th will not be eligible for continuing contract consideration until May of the following year.

Eligibility for Continuing Contracts. Eligibility for continuing contract status is based on three factors: (1) the grade or “quality” of the teaching license held by the teacher; (2) the length of time the teacher has held an educator license; and (3) the length of teaching service within the district.

  • Eligibility for Pay An employee granted military leave for emergency National Guard duty is entitled to receive regular University pay for a period not to exceed thirty (30) calendar days in any one (1) fiscal year.
