Elementary Limits. The District shall provide class size ratios that do not exceed the following numbers at the elementary level, grades K-5: Kindergarten 22 per session Grade 1 23 per session Grades 2 and 3 25 per session Grades 4 and 5 27 per session Elementary Specialist 28 per session The Association agrees to release the District from this obligation in the event the District should suffer a levy loss. If state funding for K-4 changes, the parties agree to return to negotiations to discuss any necessary changes to this section. If, after the first two weeks of the school year, an elementary class or daily load exceeds the District limits stated above, the teacher shall have the option of choosing one (1) of the following remedies, that choice shall be communicated to the building principal. The parties will initiate the overload remedy within five (5) working days of notice to the building principal.

If state funding for K-4 changes, the parties agree to return to negotiations to discuss any potential changes to this section. Employees will automatically receive overload pay at the rate of $450 for each month they are in overload based on monthly enrollment counts, beginning with the October enrollment count. Alternatively, the employee may request one of the following remedies from building administration, and the administrator will respond within five (5) working days:

  • Benefit Coverage The Company agrees to provide pension and welfare benefits as described in the Company Booklets, benefit plan documents or policies of insurance for the duration of the Agreement.

  • Travel Accident Insurance We agree to provide you with Travel Accident Insurance at no direct cost to you. You, your spouse and unmarried dependent children will be automatically insured against accidental bodily injuries or death while riding in any aircraft or land or water conveyance operated by a common carrier licensed to carry passengers for hire provided the full travel fare(s) has been charged to your Account. Death benefits will be paid to the estate of the insured; all other benefits will be paid to the insured. This insurance is subject to cancellation without prior notice. You understand and agree that the Certificate of Insurance controls all insurance terms and conditions to the exclusion of any statements made in this Agreement regarding limitations, exclusions, and claims procedures.
