Elementary Class Size. Regular elementary classroom teachers shall have a limit of twenty-eight (28) students. Special area teachers shall have a limit of thirty-four (34) students per class. In the event that future budget cuts require the elimination of positions, the District and the Association will establish a memorandum of agreement that allows for elementary classes to exceed this limit in order to prevent staff reductions at other levels.
